I also wrote the test at Apapa on the 9th, yet to receive an interview invite. Anyone in same shoe with me? |
But when exactly is the interview coming up for those of us that did the exam in December at Lagos? |
@Tayo, why now? No point lieing now. I'm an open person, no point lieing. If I have been around I will be a plus one to the number but what of the multitude of guys that stayed back there in lagos and waiting to hear feed back? Only those who I talked to privately can bear me witness. Pls accept my sincere apologies. Pls and pls |
Guys, I never and never played any pranks guys. The last one we had ask anyone who was there, I was at the fore front of it all. I never made fool of anyone. What's my gain doing that. Guys called for it to come up at this time even when I pleaded we wait till I get back. But they said we shouldn't wait at all that time counts. Pls and pls try and accept my apologies. It wouldn't have been helpful if I post that here and that was why I have spoken in private with like 10 guys about this. I hope they can bear me witness on here. |
Bro, good job. I've made it known to some guys we spoke in private that I've been in Abuja since January 10th that we need take a later date. But they said we can't afford to waste time before the today was picked. I've made them known that I can't make it down but I was told not to worry that they will coordinate everything perfectly. I was told not to post it on here that I won't be available so that some guys won't lean back. I even sent in a letter apology for them to pass to the crowd since yesterday but I don't know if that was passed across. And all through the movement, I was on steady communication with some peeps that showed up. Accept my due apologies. |
Monday 4TH February 2012. Let's all gather up as Scheduled Alausa central Mosque 8am prompt. Spread the news! Be heard! |
MONDAY 4TH FEBRUARY. I'm sure after that date, we shall close this forum and have a cup of wine to clique together. Let's converge @ Alausa Central Mosque by 8am. Let's be well coordinated. Its a peaceful rally. We aren't leaving the Governor's office until we see the governor. THIS IS THE LAST OPPORTUNITY TO PRESS HOME FOR OUR DEMAND. BE THERE! NUMBER COUNTS! BE HEARD! |
the presence of a large crowd will call the attention of the press, we dont need to pay any money. all press house have correspondents attached to the governor's office. |
MONDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 2012, 8AM, Let's all converge at Alausa Central Mosque for a peaceful rally to the governor's office. Come along with a cardboaard and a marker. For those of us working, a day off work will not make us loose our job. Let's take our destinies in our hands. ENOUGH SAID, ACTION PLS! Pass this information round. |
We want to use all medium we have to be able to get the governor's attention. The sms to the governor shall run for the whole of this week and next week monday 4th February 2013, we shall be having a peaceful rally in which the procession shall converge at the front of the Alausa Central Mosque by 8am. From there we shall march down to the governor's office. Pass this information across to everyone. This may be the last resort to get the governor's attention to address our issue. Let's mobilise in large number and I'm sure after this we shall all have course to smile. |
I checked the number using a software and it confirmed it to be for brf, Babatunde Raji Fashola. 08034301122. Its up to us all, N5 sms per day isn't too much for us. Let's take our destinies into our hands. |
Nice one guys. Just so sorry that our guys are not just talking about what we can do. The number is out and let's make I a duty to send at least a message every day to the governor, I'm sure something will happen soon. |
It might and might not. The reason for d delay have been on the issue of the salary increase. Yes fashola promised to pay by jan but u know all A.C.N governors do things together, all of them must agree before fashola could pay. |
Yeah, that's true. They are planning a national strike. |
If u guys are not in for the peceful rally, we have other options. Let's use the press by using the reader's column. For Punch newspaper, send the message to express our plight as SMS to 08055923429. The message should contain sender's full name and address, but for security reasons, you may need to hide your real identity. Also someone called me just yesterday to tell me about a programme on 107.5 fm where people do make complaints and which the governor always listen to, I will try and get the detail of that programme and we may choose a day when we can bombard them with calls. If we can all do this, I assure u guys of a propmt responce. Heaven help those who help themselves. |
So far now, just 4 responce, when we are looking up to minimum of 200. There is no how the rally will work if we don't have the support of the vast majority. If u have been coming here to just read other people's post without dropping your, you aren't helping the forum. |
We have started running this same topic on the facebook group for the science graduate trainees. So what ever that is decided there shall be considered with what we have here and we shall take a stand together and take action fast. Better we drop our comments here asap so that we can hasten up our actions. Remember, heaven help those who help themselves. Thank you all. |
The best time will be on a monday, this is the day they always have the state executive meeting, we can choose a date in february, we would have to converge as early as possible at the gate of the governor's office so that the governor will see the crowd outside before he gets into the office or else we may be dispersed by the security officers and we may have to wait again till when the governor will leave the office. Its only with a large crowd that this can be achieved. So better we all agree to this suggestion, then we fix a date and we can always make it work. |
Good day everyone. Its been an unending wait for this Lagos state teaching job. And if we are to count, its been like 7 months that have been on this prolonged wait. Someone there suggested a protest, but we need to know for those who don't know that, the last set of teachers recruited by the lagos state government only got their letters after the had a peaceful rally, not a protest, to the governor's office. It was in responce to this that the governor ordered the immediate release of their employment letters. But I suggested something, sometimes last year on the facebook group of those that had d trainning at Agidingbi, that we should use reader's column of our national dailies to appeal to the governor, this is only done by sending SMS, and if many of us can keep doing this for 7 days consecutively, it will get published and it will get to the governor. Mind you, last year that we had a peaceful rally to the governor's office, the governor was not in the state and we were advised by the security officers and the governor office staff that we should write a letter to the governor, myself and some guys wrote this letter but many of the guys we went there are afraid of submitting their signatures to be attached to this letter. If that also can be done, I'm sure the governor's attention would be drawn to our plight and then we can hope something would be done, instead of just waiting here, where no one is seeing us. #my take. |
One thing I've noticed on this forum is, some guys are just here dolling out fake information from unreliable sources. If u have any information, consider the source and the integrity of the source, not just coming here to give people unnecessary tension. Let's keep our fingers crossed, I'm sure something would happen soon, but I doubt if d governor have assent d list cos if he have done that, the process won't take this long again. |
Believe it or not,its d salary issue that is delaying. Remember lagos teachers were on strike sometimes last year and the governor promised them d new salary increament this year. Fashola want to pay 60 per cent of the 27.5 per cent newly approves teacher salary scale but d teachers are demanding a full payment, but I just want believe all that has been taken care of in the state budget for 2013. They are yet to resolve the issue and that is what is delaying the approval of our employment. Let's just cross our fingers and let's see how they play on d politics. |
See as politicians dey rubbish professors. I remembered that day we finnished the training that Prof Noah was making mouth as if the dates he was quoting was real. No be here we dey today. |
Adeola, the information I dropped is from a director at MOE. I can't come here and give out fake information, its of no point. You can call back at whoever you know at the ministry to confirm what I have said. |
The reason for the delay in our appointment has been on the issue of 60 per cent increament in salary which Lagos teachers are fighting for. As soon as this is resolved our list shall be pasted.these are Information from a top shot in the ministry. She further revealed that our list is still with the governor and it has not yet bEen signed as speculated by some people. This is the truth of the matter. |
