The onus point basically rests on where u're posted to [location and ppa's], from experience i think been posted to government owned secondary schools gives one enough personal time and time to do other thngs (school closes by 2:00pm and holidays) . . If u're posted to heart of the state like uyo,eket,ikot ekpene et.c where we have thousand and one parents looking for private tutors, teachers at diff tutorials, e.t.c.

A self contained?..from 120k up..but would advice u to budget 150k(fr rent)..that's the standard price.. that's within uyo(state capital).

Mtn is a no no, very bad network, just get glo and airtel, and make sure you get a powerbank that can last you for like two days

Please don't lead people astray,I did my law school in Agbani,from oct 2013 to august 2014..From holy ghost to shoprite was like 100 naira or more,can't remember the exact amount.Na just female clothes dey a bit cheap.The least fare u pay for bus is 50 naira.Some places u pay 200 sef.Cabs are very expensive,from agbani to independence layout (orangeroom lounge and shoprite),we pay 2500 to and fro,that's 5k.

I stay in enugu. Ive lived dere all my life. Transport is cheap believe me! Least u pay for bus is 20 naira! Anybody charging u 200 naira for bus cheated u hun!. Cab can be expensive if u stay far naa just like anyoda city. Agbani na village what do u expect. Enugu is cheap anytime anyday!

Yeah. I am having the same thoughts as well. A lot of people were gvn deir 3rd choices especially when their first and 2nd choice were in the same zone as where dey schooled and also places deyve visited. Im praying over it as well bt im most likely gona put lagos as 3rd choice. Eida ways Let Gods will prevail.

Economics as a subject is based on a lot of theories.. These theories are churned out backed up by assumptions..nigeria is trying to practicalize a theory in economics which cant work because the assumptions underlying it is not practicable in nigeria! Cbn governor is assuming other things are being equal but it isnt.. Pls there are better ways to go with this naira dollar brouhaha than this! Nigeria had two oil booms and they r complaining of depleted foreign reserves! All the money that has been tiffed years past is enough to foot 2016 bugdet! Cbn! Bring back our atm cards!

Is the whole state choosing thing actually a random selection by nysc or is there actually a way of arranging the states to get your most desired choice?.Since ppl dont usually get their first choice. Just asking.

For those of you who think Mobilization of Corps Members for A16 will be march,am sorry to.say that "YOU ARE WRONG".


NYSC can't have two batch A's(A15&A16) at a time cos Call up number and must not be the same....If Batch A will be mobilized,the current Batch A15 must have pop(Passing out parade) before the coming in of batch A16..

So,batch A16 will also be in May 2016....

So what you are trying to say? Because nysc had two batches this year so therefore it will permanently run two batches subsequent years to come? If nysc wants A16 to be Feb/march believe me, they will make it happen. Before A16 (stream 1 and 2) are done with camp, A15 must have passed out. Yes A15 woud be expected to touch camp once more before they pass out and yes if you think of it, it could be at the same time A16 would be in camp, and then that could be a problem. But then we are not nysc... They will have all these sorted when the time comes. Timetable should be out soon and all these speculations and drama will all be over.

Not all youth corps members are paid the 15k oo think i heard its the first 100 to get to the state secretariat at Alausa afta camp to sign up,that get paid. I might be getting some things mixed up but the summary of it all is.. Not everyOne is receiving the 15k monthly pay.

This is the problem with Nigeria.... Tribalistic issues that do not make sense. Really Nigeria needs to tackle this issue first before any other like corruption and the rest. This is slowly eating us up! I taya sha. Abeg one house.. No hating. Let us learn to love ourselves. Una doh.
