Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Firs Or Ptdf Oss, Which Should I Go For? by tjaya: 9:52pm On Jun 20, 2010
Murphy, pull your ears and go for your master's. FIRS officer cadre will earn you a salary of 1.6m p.a. i.e roughly 130k before tax. Is it worth throwing that scholarship away for? They are not even ready to call you to resume yet. It will take months. I received their letter too but I am looking for alternative options because the salary is poorer than what I currently make. Get your master's and defer the FIRS appointment. Pick up the letter but fill in a distant date in the column for resumption date. May God help you.

Not anytime soon, so don't resign your employment just yet. One of their staff warned everyone there that it will probably be a few more months before anyone will be approached to start work.
Jobs/Vacancies / Urgent Vacancy For Safety Personnel by tjaya: 1:38pm On Feb 09, 2010
I'm not at liberty to reveal the name of the company. But if you are an engineer or environmentalist with a practical working knowledge of safety and not older than 30 years old. Then please send your CV to cookiemarina@gmail.com.

You must be male, computer literate, a university graduate and ready to work in the swampy parts of the Niger Delta.

Precedence will be given to those who hold an NISP certificate.
