A governor that did the below should not only be impeached but flogged in the market square after the impeachment. 1. Attempt to get the National Assembly to take over the legislative functions of Rivers State. 2. Prevent the Rivers Assembly from convening with a constitutionally required quorum. 3. Facilitate the relocation of a factional three-member Assembly to an alternate venue. 4. Withhold Assembly funds and remove the Clerk and Deputy Clerk. 6. Deploy heavy machinery, including bulldozers, to demolish the legislative complex. 7. Restrict lawmakers and Assembly staff from accessing the legislative building. |
