Science/TechnologyHow To Stop Applications From Consuming Your Mobile Data Without Your Knowledge by TkNaruto(op): 4:05pm On Dec 24, 2016
Sometimes we receive messages from our internet service providers informing us about our internet bundles. We receive messages like ''your 30 days data plan subscription will soon expire''.

Imagine a scenario where a data plan that was meant to last for about 30 days was lavished within a week without heavy data use. I'm sure we've all been there.

Most of the time, this usually happens when we download a lot of applications on our smart phones and they end up chowing down on our internet without us even noticing. Now no need panic as this is an article that will show you ''How to stop applications from using your mobile data without your knowledge''.
Download the app ‘Net Guard’ from the Play Store here. wink
Once it's done downloading, simply turn off your mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Launch the app and make sure it completes its initial boot.
Once the app finishes loading it will look something like this.
The applications shown above are the ones I have installed on my phone.
Click on the two icons/constructs next to the app name or click on the one you wish to disable and then turn on the Net Guard itself by toggling the button on the top left corner of the app.
Turn on your Wi-Fi or mobile data and confirm that it works.
