It's funny that when the Government of Finland convicted Simon Ekpa for terrorism, Peter Obi did not issue any statement to condemn the sentencing , he remained mute. But as soon as the Federal Government convicted Nnamdi Kanu of terrorism, within 72 hours, he has come out to condemn the Government. If this doesn't tell you something about him, I don't know what else will.

While Gumi is calling on the Govt to negotiate with bandits, insisting they're fighting for a just cause, for years of neglect and marginalization, Peter Obi is also asking the Government to let Kanu and ipob free, insinuating that ipob are fighting for years of neglect and marginalization. He described ipob as his neighbors who share things in common with him.
The common denominator is the fact that both Gumi and Peter Obi are being driven by ethnic sentiments towards their own people irrespective of the magnitude of atrocities being committed by both terror groups.

Over 30 states are largely peaceful, less than 6 states of the Federation experiencing the ugly situation which we trust the FG to resolve soon as possible.

Our thoughts goes to people of Borno, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Niger. Well meaning Nigerians trust the insecurity experienced in those states LGs are a thing of the past soonest. Nigerians trust the FG and security foces to do the needful urgently to save and rescue lives.
