The benefits of bringing back subsidy will flow even into the villages and the remotest parts of the country

None of these buses will get to any village or remote areas. They are mostly for intercity and intracity transport and most cities in Nigeria average a population of 1million people. How can 30 buses here, 15 buses there cater for 1million people in the first instance

And of course what happens to the rural dwellers who form majority of Nigerians? I guess they are left to continue to grapple with high fuel price

This is a poorly thought idea and the implementation is even more shambolic and disjointed

When the President was reading his Independent Day Speech yesterday, I waited patiently for the part where he would take time to address the issue of insecurity and what they will do to tackle it.

Guess what?

He didn't say anything about insecurity despite that long speech. He didn't even sympathize with families that have lost their loved ones to terrorists and those who are still held captive. Well, what does he care! Somebody that is cruizing in bulletproof cars, with armed security.

I understand that there was insecurity before Tinubu came into power but nothing close to what we are experiencing now.

If government cannot give us light, they cannot give us road, they cannot give us good healthcare, they cannot make food items cheap, can they at least, ensure our safety, which is their major resposibility?

We've been avoiding road trips to stay safe but we are not even safe in our houses anymore. 😭😭😭

I sincerely don't have anything against Tinubu and APC. I will gladly support any leader that is competent irrespective of tribe, party or religion. I don't really care, I just want Nigeria to be okay.

But I cannot support this government because they don't have the solution to our problems. They are unbothered about our wellbeing.

They have no idea what we are going through.

They have food to eat, they fly abroad for medical checkup, they have 24 hours light in their residences, they have enough money in their accounts. They even move around with heavy security protocols.

They can't relate to how scared and hungry we are.

How can someone who has only one vote be so sure that only him will determine the winner of an election that millions of people will participate in if not because these people don see us finish?

In 2023, tulumbu was not tested. He ran with the Muslims Muslim ticket, promising to build Nigeria the way he built lagos, he promised to reduce the dollar exchange rate to the naira amongst many other things.


Also he projected himself as someone that was sick and was constantly make blunders, fooling the north that he was not fit physical ( truly he wasn't) and they somewhat felt he may die in power or would be easily controlled which would be in their favour

Leveraging on the political connections he has built overtime, he was able to meander his way into power

Here is where it gets interesting

He has been in power now and they have seen that his promises were lies and that he had dealt the north a bad hand.

Insecurity has been in all time worse, fuel is expensive, corruption is everywhere and the North has been particularly hit by his policies more than any other region when it comes to insecurity

The sentiments against tulumbu in the north is very bad and the North is the leader of protest votes

Rigging would only be possible when you are wanted in the place. The osun and kwakwasiya model is an elective antidote against Rigging

Thank God the constitution makes it impossible for one region to determine the president

This election would be based on how much each of the other candidates can get votes from the other person's region while consolidating his
