CondomSir:

Ma'am

I don't think anyone is judging anyone here. Most of us who passed the exam have been through the failure path before. We only didn't give up.

Personally, I feel if there'll be any further grading, they'd have done it together with the putme score or gave further information about it. The only information attached to everyone's score is that cutoff marks will soon be released. However, they could just decide to include both UTME and olevel grades tomorrow and ask us to recheck our scores. Whichever way, we should be fine. The funny thing is that I wasn't happy when the putme was announced. I felt I wasn't up to the task considering my 2015 experience. I already had a very good UTME and olevel aggregate. But when I saw my score, it was exactly the same score with what I'd have scored if they used only UTME and olevel aggregate then. So, all things being equal, we'll be fine with whatever modality they'll be adopting.

Don't even think that UI will admit candidates with marks lower than 50%. That was our thoughts too in 2015 when almost all sci & tech aspirants on nairaland scored below 50. We were awed when the cutoff marks came out. UI prefer admitting just 10 students in a department to bringing the cutoff mark below 50 so as to admit more.

Whatever decision the management will be taking, I pray it favours each and everyone of us who has worked hard in securing this year's admission into the first and the best university in Nigeria.

i seriously like the way you speak , i wish you and everyone all the best

Madam.

No one here is going against CAPS because it will not favour us.To a very large extent,I have a decent UTME score some law aspirants even wished they can secure so that notion of yours is ludicrously erroneous.

CAPS does not mean UTME score will be considered during admission process neither does it mean O'level results will be graded.CAPS only stands for a nationwide admission centre(more like an online database) where all Institutions handle their admission in the open so issues of nepotism/cronyism can be effortlessly reduced.

Now,If indeed UI will use any aggregate system in judging admission chances,It will be clearly stated on everyone's portal to anticipate for a subsequent Aggregate which will be calculated eventually.....Read Carefully below if that's written↓↓↓↓

"The cut off marks for the various courses are not out. It will be made available as soon as it is ready"

Trust Me...Don't raise anyone's hope on the basis of one CAPS aggregate, it will (99%) get shattered sooner or later.
unilag did not say anything untill there cut off was out .

do not be so fast in judging people , you might not like the caps system cos it would not favor you but looking at it, ui might use some percent from jamb , post utme and olevel . last year the when you checked ur screening score , underneath you would see that it was written that candidates who scored less than 50% does not stand a chance in gaining admission , but it not written there this year that means there is still hope

Don't be pessimistic, there is no God or aliens among the aspirant.

Even me that did all the 100, I av seen for myself 5 questions I thought I got right that I got them wrong.

I screamed inside of me when I was checking textbooks. I don't want to think about the questions again, else, I will give myself HBP

i can't wait for UI to release that thing.
