Manager007:
You have been rightfully advised by Manikky. If you are sure your application has been approved, your only option remains to nominate someone to collect your permit on your behalfat VFS and have your passport couriered to you. I do not think the SAHC in Nigeria will issue visitor's visa to you since you have already been issued a work visa.

Keep the thread informed and we can advise further where need be.

All the best!
Manager007 am aware of kunletune case infact he is a friend of mine. But another issue with his case is that before he left the republic the pasport on which the visitors visa was issued expired and he applied for a fresh passport before he left south africa. He is thinking of applying for a visitors visa on that new passport from Nigeria. Because sending your passport to south africa and dhl it back toyou might bring some problems incase he wants to enta the replublic that how did he get his permit stamped when he is not here (as you all know southy immigration at OR tambo can be funny sometimes).

I applied fr a visitors visa sumtyms in feb wit my wife and son but was refuesd. We got an invitation from a very senior family friend of mine. I was told by a friend then that d reason for my refusal is becuz of my age and dat of my wife (26 & 25 respectively but this is our true age and what is on our passport) and also becuz of the salary i quote i was earning (323k). Am an operational manager in an hotel and my wife and i also run an hospitality firm togeda. Now we intend applying for anoda visitors visa what is our chance of getting one dis tym.
EducationRe: Osun Begins 4-5-3 Educational System, collapses Pry, Secondary Schools by tolma28(m): 12:07am On Oct 03, 2013
as I would have love not to comment but I cant just take my eyes and mind off this thread. I was born, brought up, working and still living in osun state. I will be sincere with my comment(s). the governors excesses are just too unbearable. he is a brilliant type but so authoritarian in nature. imagine he claimed to spend about 14.9billion on dis same project, didn't he think what dis great amount would have done if channel to just renovation of the demolished schools like his counterpart feyemi did in Ekiti. with the said amount he will be able to provide standard laboratories, libraries and school buses for each school. also has the governor forgotten what alma Mata is? what happens to those schools that has produced millions of great people in there good time? also has he ever thought about sustainability and continuity of his so called policy? look at his so much hyped opon-imo project, the so called opon-imo is yet to be well distributed as claimed. the amount spent on this opon-imo is more than enough to build a standard modern library with e-learning equipment in schools in osun state. similarly, he called himself an engineer all this newly built schools are not fire protected and he intends to house thousands of pupils in such a building. this schools are so small with no big compound for extra curriculum activities. In conclusion ogbeni and his team should go back to the drawing board and re-strategize and also ruminate about what the future of these policies might be. because that such policy works in lagos does not mean it is good for osun.

GOD BLESS OSUN STATE.

Helo everybody. My brother was recently denied visa for false documentation and fraudulent act. He works with GT Bank and he submitted all necessary document such as, bank statement, 6-month pay slip, offer letter, staff ID card and letter of introduction from his branch office. We were surprised by the reason for refusal. Please hoe do we go about it? Should we petition the them? Or reapply?

justwise: That means you are going to spend about 4x your monthly salary in a week or two holiday? Your chances of getting a visa is very remote. If i were you i will give it a break until your financial situation improves.
but I have a business which I run with my wife outside my normal employment. And I have d cac cert and evidence of tax payment for business transactions.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by tolma28(m): 5:20pm On Aug 10, 2013
The conference starts on may 22 but we all submitted our application may 8. So we were all refused visa base on the fact dat we did not give d ECO enough tym to decide.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by tolma28(m): 2:47pm On Aug 10, 2013
@justwise, late submission as in d ECO said I didn't give 15 work days for processing. Dis actually affected all d institutes member that applied (abt 8 pple).
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by tolma28(m): 2:17pm On Aug 09, 2013
@justwise, the last time i applied was in may, 2013 and the reason for refusal was because of late submission. but the second refusal was in oct, 2012 and i stated that my monthly income varies between 200k - 400k and i used my personal acct which am using for business to apply for it but unfortunately the ECO said he is not satisfied with my financial condition becuz am unable to proof reasonably the sources of the income in my account even after explaining i run a business.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by tolma28(m): 2:13am On Aug 08, 2013
please i need help on uk visitor's visa. i have being refused 3 times (1) ECO not satisfy with my financial circumstance (refusal 2) ECO not satisfy with my financial circumstance (refusal 3) insufficient time for processing of visa application (i intend to attend my institute annual conference).

actually am employed full time with a monthly income of above #120k, and i also have a personal business i run with my wife and is fetching us some amount too. i just registered the company fews months ago after years of operation and ever since we register the company we have being paying our tax as at when due. but we just opened our corporate account but not upto six month, i use my personal account (seperate from my salary account) to run the business and it is this same personal account i have being using for the 3 times i have applied for visa. now i intend to apply for visa again please ihow do i go about it as i intend to use the same personal account for the application. in my previous applications i stated everything about me that could aid my application (such as my marriage cert, company cert) but i intend to add evidence of tax payment and my PHCN utility bills for my personal house.
