well it doesn't matter if you submit the scratch card or not. the most important documents are as follows
education documents-- WAEC, TRANSCRIPT, UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE, ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE, NYSC CERTIFICATE.
Financial documents-- BANK STATEMENT, PROPERTY DOCUMENTS, LETTER OF SPONSORSHIP, AFFIDAVIT OF SPONSORSHIP
most important is Letter of acceptance from the university or college in canada..

Im currently in Toronto. This place is not so cold at the moment but it is geting cold already gradually. Im going to report to Seneca on Tuesday cause today is public Holiday here.

Canada is beautiful but things in Toronto are expensive except food which is rilly cheap. We await ur coming,

@ guddylover: yeah i went to the embassy to get it. it was issued that very day. 25th Aug 2011. My school resumes Sept 6, 2011. cheers!

@ guddylover: No they didnt ask me for proof of tuition. Nevertheless, i had paid my 1st semester fees ($6500) before my application and submitted my bank telex copy and school reciept. cheers!

called for medicals on 3rd August 2011
did medicals at YABA on 5th August 2011
Got my TRV multiple entry 2day.

PRAISE THE LORD. for those who have done their medicals in the past 3 weeks. Please go to the embassy to make inquiries. Pray fervently cause i did and you will hear good news! cheers to all.

@delta007, like my own case on my letter of acceptance there are 3 start date in which i can come in sept,jan or May 2012.do i still need to get a letter from the school to update my file should incase i didnt get the visa prior to the sept start date.

@ guddylover: I personally don't think that there is a need for a new letter in your case since it clearly states the alternate start dates but you can get advise from more Nairalanders. cheers!

@ Okeys112: your school start date is August 16. which is already past. why don't you go to the embassy and make inquiry on the status of your file? I simply advice that you do so. cheers!

@ Lee07: Thank you for your response. I have contacted Merian Hospital @ yaba and i have been given the tracking number. I tracked it and it was delivered on 16th Aug @ 11:30am. it was picked up @ d hospital on 11th Aug. so it spent about 5days to get to Paris.

i did mine on 5th Aug, was sent on 11th Aug to France. Wanna estimate when it would have gotten to France.

@ nellydee: We did our medicals on the same day and our school resumes on the same day but my medicals was done @ yaba not V.I. Lets stay positive brov. Do you have an alternate start date? what school are u going?

My latest date to resume is 12th September as stated in my acceptance letter.

@ chukie 94: don't be deceived, MAPLE uses any hospital of d 2. They use d one DAT provides an earlier appointment date. i have a friend dat used maple and did his medicals in YABA. He is still awaiting his visa though! cheers!

@ guddylover: when did u do ur medicals? and when are u to resume?

@ newacca: i think its because of the complicated TB case. They are probably reviewing your doctors report that was sent after-wards. lets keep praying.

@ guddylover: It takes all hospitals about the same time to get medicals sent to CDHC France. No hospital in Africa can send results directly to the embassy. it has to be sent to CDHC France first. That is the d central location for Africa. Then from France to Lagos.

@ ALL: IMPORTANT If CDHC hasn't reached a decision on an application after the school start date, what is the next step?

I personally think that a new letter with a new start date should be requested from the school and taken to CDHC to update documents.

In my case did my medicals Aug 5. My school resumes for September 6. and i have already paid my tuition. My present Program doesn't have a January start date only September. Seneca College told me that IF THE NEED ARISES to differ to a January start date then i have to change to another graduate program that has a Jan start date.

I fervently pray that i wouldn't have to go through all this: YOUR OPINIONS ARE MOST WELCOME. Thanks

@ cindel07: I did my medicals on the 5th of Aug, My school resumes for 6th September, latest date to resume as given on the letter is 12th September.

@ chibs001: why don't you go to the embassy and fill the form to inquire how far. does the letter you submitted to the embassy have the new start date in it?  have you sent them an e-mail? if no i think u should. cheers brov!

there was a previous case here on Nairaland where some1's start date was mistaken for the next month. she went to the embassy and was called in and was given her visa that day.

Yeah you can use her provided she provides you with a letter of sponsorship and affidavit of sponsorship sworn @ the High court or sealed by a notary public. if she can give u her property documents also as proof of income from rental properties, i sugest you get that from her as well.
if you have a document dat proofs your relationship with her, u can also submit dat. cheers!

yeah! i went to KC but left in after JSS 3. i entered in 1998.

@ all: pls is there any[b] difference [/b]in the medical processing time between the hospital in[b] VI [/b]and Yaba asper the time frame for your medicals to be sent to the embassy. cause i did mine on the 5th of august (blood, urine test and x-ray). and I confirmed last week that it left for Paris on the 11th of August.
