Hello everyone, UK MSc Application Update (Civil/Construction Background) I just submitted my applications and thought I’d share my strategy for anyone in a similar position (HND + construction/civil background, budget-conscious). Schools/Courses Applied: - Teesside University – MSc Project Management (with Advanced Practice) - University of Bolton – MSc Construction Project Management - University of Sunderland – MSc Project Management Why these choices: I didn’t pick based on “popular schools” but on what I can realistically execute. - Teesside: Main target. The Advanced Practice route gives extra time in the UK to gain experience and stabilise. - Bolton: Budget-friendly and directly aligned with construction. Strong fallback option. - Sunderland: Backup option—similar to Teesside but without placement, just to increase chances. My profile (brief): - HND Civil Engineering (Upper Credit) - Some construction/site exposure - Moving toward project/construction management Strategy: - Focus on affordability (low deposit schools) - Pick courses I can align to construction - Avoid overhyped/expensive options that don’t fit my situation Now waiting for decisions. Anyone else applying to these schools or similar routes, feel free to share your timeline or experience. |

I want to assess wifey's credentials, she is a Lawyer (She has a 2 year Diploma in LAW, LLB + LAW School certificate) Would WES evaluate her Certificates (Diploma + LLB Degree) as Two or more certificates, because WES is faster. or I should just assess her LLB with IQAS/CES ? |
GraciousWords:We will consider that or the Provincial Nomination I know her CRS can't fly without taking French or PNP |
