The guy that posted on JIJI. He sent me the account details and phone number of the delivery agent.

The phone dealer called me yesterday, saying that he took my number from the delivery agent.
Explaining that the guy contact him saying that he will send his brother during the delivery to collect the phone. So he was confused after waiting for 30min and ask to the delivery agent to go, that the situation wasn't clear.

He sent me the screenshot of the WhatsApp chat with the guy.
He gave my name, and address as he was me ordering the phone while I ordered from him

You mean the account details belongs to the delivery guy or the seller?

I didn't pay through Jiji app.
The delivery came with the phone and I made the payment.
The problem is that the person to who I made the payment was not the phone dealer.
So I ordered from him and he ordered the phone as he was me.
Then during the delivery I transfered the cash and he was saying didn't receive anything.
When trying to sort it out on call, the delivery agent ran away!

Who sent you the account details??
Na for road side, U and the delivery guy transact??

I got scammed today by a peddler of MTN and Airtel data on Nairaland. He advertised different bundles of the above said networks and i fell for it.

Not much though, only 1700 naira. He blocked my line after sending him the said amount.
I saw his advert on the comments section of an earlier posted topic "Profile of Ibrahim Gambari, Buhari's New Chief Of Staff "

I am using these medium to warn and alert fellow Nairalanders to be careful pls. I hope no one else fell for his tricks?
