The truth is, when you're not in their shoes, it's easy to judge them and call them all manner of names, it's easy to claim that it was environmental or peer pressure. The Buddha said don't tolerate them. They're not yours for creations sake. The Buddha said rather Accept them. That's reality. Sometimes I wonder if the kind of love we straight people give is different from the kind of love they give. Why would I be concerned about how someone else chose to give love? Walahi we have more pressing issue in this country. And funny thing is, gay people don't just see you and start forcing you to have sex with them. They approach you like normal straight people do. Gay people are humans and they have right to love how they choose. Just because the Pope doesn't accept them doesn't mean that the universe doesn't. While the Pope is not God or source, I'll advise they should respect the church opinion and go where they are wanted, life nor hard. Buddhism doesn't have any issue with gay people because according to the Buddha, anybody can touch the feet of God. It's still pride month... Even our parents that help us, we don't call them often or even show them off, it doesn't mean we don't think about them. Him wanting to be wished hbd on social media cos his bro post other people says alot. For example, I'm a die hard fan of kpop especially BTS, I post them everyday. But my parents, I don't even post them, say on birthdays and sometimes not. But I give them things, may not call them often. If you are someone who is judgemental or insults the family on how much you pay their bill every opportunity you get, he may not confide in you, that doesn't mean that he does not love you. Imo, you didn't say anything that he has done. Try to be a bit flexible, don't be the type that's quick to advise a grown ass man, sometimes lovingly advice. In fact check yourself. I have someone special in my life that I don't tell anything. I'm not a bad child but some people seem to understand that things must always go their way. For example, I don't do religion, but that special someone doesn't know about it cos I don't have time for someone to start preaching left right and center to me. Doesn't mean they stopped being special. So check yourself first. Sometimes it starts with us. |
