Yeah your school or the agent representing your school in 9ja is gonna request for proof of funding before getting the Confirmation of enrollment(COE) which is required by the embassy. So you can either express this by showing your bank acc. statement or so.

I once made an inquiry about this license issue to the SERVICE SA South Australia and below is what they stated;

If your visit is temporary, you can drive the same type of vehicle in Australia as your current licence allows.

You will need one of these:

*a licence issued in another country that is written in English
*a licence with an English translation if necessary or an international driver's licence.

You must carry your licence documents at all times when driving and produce these and your passport to police on request.

You must not be disqualified from driving in any country.

If your overseas licence expires while you are in Australia, you must get an Australian licence.

I wonder why people are always complaining about unemployment rate in Adelaide. You should visit here before making conclusions.
The fact is that its quite difficult to get a professional job in any part of Australia because companies won't employ you due to your 20 hrs work restrictions. They prefer to employ Permanent residents or more preferably citizens. But you can sure get a part-time job in Adelaide if you wanna work. For those who wanna study in Adelaide, go for it...We all have different destinies.

Yeah you don't need any agent to get ur visa stuff done. I did mine all by myself from A to Z. Now i am in Australia.

TAFE courses are cheaper. I would advise that you to go through this;

Age doesn't matter when it comes to studies in Australia. The question is "Are you a genuine student?" . A Statement of Purpose stressing your purpose of studies will do the Job.

I presented my statement to both the School and d Embassy... Try to submit a good SOP along with your application. It will make the visa processing more easier....

My tuition is 11k $Aus per year + Average living Expenses(18610). That's approximately (29610 $Aus). Though i presented a statement of acc that could cover my entire period of studies...

Well I will also combined my course because am doing an advance diploma with Tafe institution. But will I still qualify for SVPs in that way?

The fact is that, A packaged programme is far more cheaper than doing a direct Degree prog.
And you will also be entitled to 2 different certificates at the end of d day.

Well selecting a programme depends on what you want. Advanced diploma now qualifies for SVP in most sch. in Australia. You can do more research on that.

Mine is a diploma course packaged with a B.Sc programme. Which program are you looking at?

Since ur prog. Falls in d SVP category then u dont need to show ur bank statement 4 ur visa app. Ur sch. Will request for proof of fund(wch could b a bank statement to cover ur expenses 4 ur first year of study or a letter of financial support from ur sponsor). U will only ve 2 declare on ur visa app. Form dat u can fund d prog. An affidavit of financial support will do.

Yes i did medicals at Zankli(Abuja) 3 weeks b4 i lodged at Teleperformance in ABJ. I submitted my app docs(including statement of acc.) according to AL3 even when mine was SVP. It was rily quick. I hope 2 b in Adelaide b4 the second week of Jan.

Gud mornin 2 everyone in d house....I just got my Aussie student visa Approved. Lodged on the 8th Dec. and was approved on the 16th Dec. I will be Glad to contribute ( Especially the SVP route).
