helinues: Kwankwanso's strength is actually only in Kano state
And for the 1 million plus votes he got in 2023, almost half of it are under age voters Those underaged voters then have become aged voters now. A new set of underage voters will replace the underaged. You can guess what the outcome will be in 2027 |

AMINDA: How can a man exercising his democratic right by contesting an election be seen as "holding the country down?" Do you realise that demanding that Atiku steps down is same thing as Tinubu wanting other opposition parties not to field candidates against him? If it is right to pressure Atiku not to contest, against his wish. Why shouldn't it be right for Tinubu to pressure Obi and indeed, other candidates from contesting, using every arsenal at his disposal? Power is not served on a plate.
There is a natural succession in Northern politics. With Buhari deceased, there is no single Northerner alive today that can pull more votes from the North than Atiku. Whether anyone chooses to deceive themselves or not, the ADC momentum is currently in the North. More Northerners are registered as members of the ADC. For this reason, if ADC holds a direct primary as stipulated by the Electoral Act, Atiku will win. Atiku ran against the tide in 2023 and still polled 7m votes while winning Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Osun states in the South. That was against an untested Tinubu that enjoyed tremendous amount of support from the North (5.6m votes). Let him contest the primaries in ADC again. If he eventually wins the primaries, he will still not win TINUBU because it's the turn of the south. So he better wait until 2031, if he must have a hope of winning |

He said kwankwaso is only known in Kano. But he pulled over 1 million votes in his first shot at the presidency. Let's assume it was only Kano that voted for him then. This time, he's coming into the race as a VP candidate presumably.
But as a sitting Vice president known all over the Nation, you got less than 3 million votes in 2007 presidential election.
One person can't keep holding this nation down.

KingOfAmebo: But a normal human being like you is supporting a country that killed over 3,000,000 igbos, mostly Children between 1967 and 1970. Have you seen how deluded you are?
It is evident that people possessed with demonic spirits are behind many posts on nairaland because no normal human being will be supporting a country that kiilled thousands of women and children in Gaza and yet again most recently kiilled 165 innocent school children in Iran, are the children also terrorists?
You can be possessed of the devil without knowing it but people can see that you are indeed possessed of the devil.
Anyways, the so called peace makers and world police, tell us which other country have caused so much deaths than American.
Yet some people blame the terrorists America created and praise America who happens to be the real threat to world peace. |

Cyberterror: What happened to the iron dome? Is it why Israeli Defence Force imposed a media blackout to keep their own people from seeing how vulnerable they are? Even with American aircraft carriers and other defences, Iran is still penetrating Israel with ease. That's why it's called "hypersonic". Quite difficult to intercept because of it's unusual speed. So it's better to destroy the lunch pad of this type of missile than to intercept the missile after it is lunched |

Politics › Re: Why Do People Genuinely Dislike Tinubu? by tony0806: 9:23am On Feb 21 |
steadygo: It feels like many people have one extreme opinion of Tinubu or the other. He is either the worst thing to ever happen to Nigeria or he is our savior. A lot of his economic moves like subsidy removal, FX reforms, and trying to increase government revenue should benefit Nigeria over time on paper. So I can understand to that level why people would like him at least to that level. At the same time, I understand why many feel the hardship is too much and that the government didn’t cushion it well, even though much of the cushioning depended on institutions or lack thereof that was already in place before Tinubu came in.
I'm interested in hearing more on why people dislike him, what about Tinubu is so much worse than past Presidents? Not looking at it in the sense of the overall state of the economy which depends on many things but in terms of governance. Make I ask you. You like TINUBU yourself?😡 |
