Sometimes, a house can look beautiful on paper and impressive from the outside, yet become uncomfortable or difficult to live in after occupation.
Why?
Because good housing is not just about aesthetics. It is also about functionality.
Things like poor ventilation, inadequate parking, poor drainage, inconvenient room arrangements, insufficient storage, lack of outdoor space and poor access can turn a beautiful house into a frustrating home.
The same principle applies to residential layouts. A layout may look perfect on paper, but if it lacks adequate roads, drainage, open spaces, recreational areas and essential facilities, the problems may only become obvious after people move in.
A beautiful design is good. A functional design is better.
