Primary school teachers in Makueni County who had taken pupils on a tour were busted handling their female pupils in a swimming pool.

Mr. Joseph Nduva Wambua and his counterpart Mike Kioko who all teach at Step Up Zion Academy Nthongoni in Makueni Mtito Andei were busted by a concerned female client at the scene.

Sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations DCI, in their official report, confirmed that the indecent act happened when the school had organized and taken all 32 class eight pupils for a tour to Tsavo Inn Hotel in Mtindo Andei.

In their company were two male teachers who had been entrusted with the kids only to turn into dangerous Hyenas.

A customer at the establishment noted that the teachers were handling two 13-year-old girls “in the false cover of the clear swimming pool.”

She called DCI who “rushed to the scene just as the two teachers were scampering into escape routes.”

As this unnamed girl struggled in the swimming pool, some young men rushed her and started touching her inappropriately. They grabbed her breasts like they were going to detach them from her body.

It took the efforts of some boys to get her to safety. This girl could have been raped if the place was dark.

A 16-year-old female learner who is accused of assaulting a fellow high school learner in the Zululand District, was sentenced to three months in prison after she failed to appear in court.

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Education Kwazi Mshengu welcomed the sentencing of the teen who is accused of assaulting a fellow learner from Mathole High School in Mahlabathini.

Following a video footage that circulated on various social media platforms in September 2020 showing a female learner severely assaulting a fellow girl learner, the family of the victim opened a case at a local police station in Mahlabathini.

The accused learner was charged with assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm. She was released on warning and under the care of the mother since she was only 16 years old.

On 23 February 2021, she was supposed to appear in court, however, she was not present.

Her parents did not know her whereabouts. The matter was then postponed to 9 March 2021 for an enquiry to be conducted to establish the reasons for her non-attendance.

At the enquiry she failed to provide reasons and the magistrate found her guilty for failing to appear in court and sentenced her to three months imprisonment.

The Grade 11 learner, who has started serving the three months jail term, is expected to appear before the court once again on 31 March 2021 where the matter of assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm will once again be heard.

A 12-year-old girl by name Blessing Ineh, who reportedly went missing in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta, has been found alive inside a soakaway.

It was gathered, that the young girl was last seen on New Year Day after she was sent on an errand by her parents.

She was found inside a soakaway located behind her family house on Tuesday, January 5, after a child heard her whimpering and raised an alarm.

According to reports by popular Warri online news portal, Warri Aproko, the young girl was abducted by three men, allegedly stabbed on the back and her throat slit before she was dumped in the soakaway.

Her body was found covered in white chalk which seems to suggest that it was a case of attempted ritual murder by suspected internet fraudsters.

The victim is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

Meanwhile, it was further learnt that Blessing revealed that her neighbour identified simply as “General” was one of the men behind the dastardly act.

According to the victim, General was the one who lured and whisked her away in a car. After they were done, the men dumped her inside the soakaway to die. The suspect is said to have disappeared from the compound since the day the girl went missing.

A major road in Apo area of Abuja, was blocked by cows on Saturday, disrupting vehicular movement for many minutes.

In various pictures seen by newsmen, motorists were forced to stop their vehicles to pave the way for the cows moving freely on the road.
