Humanity first before religion
Where is humanity in Hamas terrorists and most of their Palestine sympathizers who don't believe Israel should exist.
If you don't kill your enemy, your enemy will kill you.
If enemies push and push you to the wall, you have to turn and face him .
Israel built wall on the boundary between her and Palestine and put in air defence systems to prevent attack from Palestines who have made themselves Israel's their sworn enemy but Palestine still manoeuvred to kill innocent people of Israel which includes defenceless children, women and men.
I know You didn't mention humanity when Hamas Palestine attacked Israel

I'm from Delta State Sir. It's like anyone who's saying something reasonable automatically becomes Igbo to you.

I know you are slow to understand things so I will break it down for you like a 5 year old.

You are on a tight budget of N3billion, how would you invest it to solve housing problems and get yourself out of a difficult financial situation?

1. You have 100 houses which needs maintenance at a total cost of 500M which will be completed in 6 years + the reminder can be used for investments.

2. Build 100 new houses with N3billion which will take 30 years to complete.
Who ask you how to govern, there is no way Tinubu can please people like you since you didn't even vote for him from the beginning.
Go and make your suggestions to Obi to implement when he becomes president.
The money spent on the road will be recouped through tolls, anyone that can't pay the toll have the option of following existing East West road
Maybe you are from Igbo part of Delta because the traits of Igbo is in you

Have you travelled by road in the country?
You just mentioned that Igbos are against it because the road doesn't pass through SE, don't you think they have the right to do so considering they make most of the importation and need such road most?

For your information, Igbos aren't against it, you simply don't know how to manage finances and you aren't different from wasteful politicians. The point is, We are all screaming about how broke Nigeria is, so why not fix the existing roads with a fraction of the budget for coastal road and use the remainder to boost the economy?? Coastal Road isn't an urgency and can be built later. What's needed now is to rescue Nigeria by saving as much as possible and investing in project that will help boost the economy as soon as possible.
You Igbo always criticize as your people are not part of those who cause problems in Nigeria.
You produce and imported fake things from pharmaceutical drugs, to adulterated drinks to fake spare parts for vehicles and other machines which has caused death and waste of money among Nigerians.
You go to other countries to commit crime like hard drugs and others crime and you still have gut to talk as if your region doesn't contribute majorly to the problem.
Since you Igbo didn't vote for Tinubu and you all believe Obi is your president, ask Obi to do for you all what you need.
You people criticize everything because of bitterness from the loss of last election .
Niger Delta deserve more projects like this because the major resources is taken from their land and they have been their right in the past.
You and Obi don't like mega projects but believe in mediocre projects

What does the South of Nigeria truly want?

We lament that a Northerner built roads even into Niger Republic and sited many projects in his region.

Now a Southerner is in power and providing good projects that are not minimalist infrastructure, yet those lamenting the most are the same Southerners who lamented against the Northerner.
It's not southerners that are against the road but precisely Igbo people because the road doesn't pass through their land.
They are always against good development since it's not Obi or that labour party government of Abia State that is doing it.
They like to condemn leaders from other tribes and try to praise and promote their own.
Peter Obi that didn't even have a landmark project to show in Anambra for 8 years is the one they are making noise about because of tribalism

Thank God you used the word might for Peter Obi....
There is no assurance Obi will do better,
Jonathan that you all supported was there and he was only pleasing the north and leaving out second Niger bridge and railway for South South.
You people are just pained because Obi is not the president,
Obi can never do better, just name his achievements as a governor in Anambra.
He performed below expectation and his people began to insult him,
There are evidences even from nairaland
as at when he was the governor where his Anambra people were criticizing him for poor performance.
If Obi could allow doctors asking for better welfare to be on strike for more than one year, he has nothing to prove that he is workers friendly

Despite the shortcomings of Buhari, he delivered second Niger bridge that Jonathan could not achieve for South East despite overwhelming support Jonathan got from South East
Politics / Re: Michael Chibuzo Replies Obi's Criticism Of The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway by TOPMAN4LIFE: 10:00am On May 01

Rubbish reply. The east west road connects lagos and all Niger Delta states. The new costal Road does the same except it has railways. Now common sense dictates you complete the east west road before embarking on a new road. The east west road is not completed, the portion done are in bad shape yet you start a new road
Present government wants a standard and fast road from Lagos to calabar, the present east west road will be difficult to upgrade to a fast and super highway because it is not straight in order to connect to many towns and cities.
Also, there will be a lot of demolitions if east west road will be upgraded to super highway.
I resided in calabar before and now in Rivers State, we spend and waste a lot of time to travel to South West.
With super highway, the journey will be smooth and fast.
Present government has not stopped work on the present east west road
Do you know there was old Lagos Ibadan road that enters different towns before reaching lbadan from Lagos but it wastes time and longer, the new express way is shorter and faster.
Government is going to recoup the money spent on the road back through toll and anyone that can't pay toll can follow the existing East West road.
Stop your mediocre thinking towards development

A whole 40 million people suffering inferiority complex. The Edo people are 98% igodomigodo blood. But the royalty may have a Yoruba infiltration at a point. Even that infiltration has less than 5% Yoruba DNA today because they always marry pure Benin women just to gain legitimacy among the edos. The Yorubas were unable to set up a world reputable dynasty 100% by themselves hence the fight for control of igodomigodo beginning from the time of oranmiyan just the way itsekiris rather than focus on creating an itsekiri town insist on fighting for recognition as olu of warri ie king of urban urhobo and ijaw towns. The real itsekiri towns are in warri north local govt closer to Edo state by sea and has no geographic connection to urban warri in warri South LG which is 95% urhobo communities. They had to insist on naming itsekiri settlements in urhoboland such as ekurede-itsekiri just to attach to warri by force. Meanwhile, the bigger town where they carved such name from is called ekurede-urhobo community in warri. Ekurede is an urhobo word for family ie family of urhobos (ekurede urhobo). The itsekiri shamelessly, settled in a part of this town and after many years went to court to fight over ownership and renamed their part to ekurede-itsekiri. They didn't even realize ekurede was a pure urhobo word- not itsekiri word. This explains the Yoruba attempted takeover of Edo by mere renaming from igodomigodo to ile binu. That doesn't change the DNA of the pure original inhabitants neither does it change their spoken language. It's just a cosmetic takeover. Nothing to brag
You are just confused and suffering from inferiority complex.
Even the current Oba of Benin said it in video online recorded on his coronation day that he is a son of oduduwa and oranmiyan in Ile ife.
That buttress the fact why Benin people bear Yoruba names and some of Bini words is synonymous to Yoruba words.
Even itshekri in Delta State has their root from Yoruba that's why they have Olu as their king's title which is a common title for traditional rulers in Yoruba land
There are people that have their roots from Yoruba, even in Benin Republic and Togo but pride has beclouded some people like you.
Can you know more than Oba of Benin that said it himself that Bini has their roots from oduduwa and oranmiyan in Ile ife.
If you are still confused, watch the video someone posted above this your comment where Oba of bini said he is the son of oduduwa and oranmiyan

There are many roads rehabilitation and construction going in Nigeria presently .

It's just that the road can't be upgraded to the standard of super highway.
The new road will reduce the distance between Lagos and calabar.
We don't need to spend a whole day on the road if the road is straight
