A fire outbreak is currently raging at the Benin Sapele expressway unchecked as men of the fire service are nowhere to be seen.
The fire outbreak began when a spark from an electric pole ignited a two day old oil spill. The fire is spreading fast due to the harmattan winds as people are running to safety.

President Muhammadu Buhari is in South for the China-Africa Corporation forum alongside the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
50 heads of state are also in attendance and it is the third time the forum will be held in an African country.

On the 27th of November, 2015, one of Africa’s most influential personality, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was a guest of the African union at the First Ever African summit on child marriage which was held at Lusaka, Zambia.

A bomb exploded at a market in Yola, Adamawa state, yesterday evening in yet another terror attack in Nigeria’s restive North Eastern region.
The explosion reportedly occurred at a vegetable market at the lorry park along Jimeta bypass.
The number of casualties remains unknown and no group has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s attack.
Nevertheless the attack is thought to have been carried out by Boko Haram.

The Senate, has directed the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to extend the validity of its results to a period of at least three years.
JAMB was also ordered to immediately stop its policy of re-assigning candidates to schools they didn’t apply to, saying such policy was contrary to the act establishing the board.

The order came following a motion entitled: ”JAMB’s New Admission Policy, “ sponsored by Senator Joshua Lidani, APC, Gombe South, which was debated during plenary.
