Longman, i had a 1050 frm him too but it was a core i5 i wasnt satisfied with habing a core i5 laptop, i wanted the swagger of owning a new gen core i7 processor. so had to go get a core i7 but this time a gtx 4gb 960m because no matter what we think a 4gb gtx is better than a 1050.usually tell people to go for the ti veraon if they really want something tougher.

Guy. There is 1050 and there is 1050ti! Big difference. The only better ones than this are 1060, 1070, and 1080 which is way above my budget.

The graphics card should always take precedence if your sole intention is gaming. The 7th generation kabylake processor is just a cherry on the cake really.

As it were, i think i have got value for my money here. This laptop is just an all rounder!!!

I have gotten a hold of this system and i must say that it is a beauty yet a beast!

I am playing FIFA 18 at maxed out settings (ultra) and it still runs at more than 60 fps!!!

This is a rare gem! People, please patronise this dude. He is dead accurate at what he states here.

So i decided to opt for the Samsung 48" SUHD 3D model after series of enquiries and negotiations.

I must confess that Mr Acunon is a tough negotiator, but ultimately keeps to words and puts his money where his mouth his.

The tv is in an impressively good condition, working perfectly. The only downside being it didnt come with the accessories like the 3d glass and the magic remote. I understand though, since it is not a new tv. You would still need to pour in a few quid if you are to enjoy your tv to its maximum.

All in all, great guy Acunon, tested and trusted to deliver. His tvs are really good value for the money when you compare his prices to new tvs.

It must be noted also that we never saw face-to-face from enquiry to negotiation to payment to delivery. All was conducted on whatsapp! that is how trustable the guy is.

Simple things, Lagos assessment center is two weeks or there about and successfully candidates will be notified while other locations AC is being conducted, no one lied. However, I can't understand why you made the sentence in bold face.

The dress code is business corporate, that is nice fitted suites and matching tie. The invitation is for assessment center where candidates will be assessed individually and in groups using some case studies of which the candidates are expected to study, analyze and give recommendations.
The overall aims is to test competencies and personality traits in order to determine what best job function a candidate will fit in and if the candidate can fit into overall outlined banking culture in this case, union bank.
The general rule is be at your simplest best and get updated with general banking and union bank specific challenges as most case studies will illustrate some current challenges of the bank (most especially the individual task) and ongoing/future plans and projection of the bank (group work).
Remember, time is not your friend and not contributing in group discussion will reduce your chances of being called for next stage.

several months after writing the Unilorin Business School entry test, we're still to hear from them. Prospective Msc students have seen their admission status. Some have even begun lectures while the unsuccessful candidates have moved on with their lives.

MBA candidates are still lurching desperately in the dark, not knowing whether to stick or twist with this never-ending process.


No information whatsoever have reached us till date. It is such a pity! Prospective MBA's where are you guys?

Sorry for not replying all those who PM me, I don't regularly use the email, please consider this post as reply as I hope it might answer any possible questions you might have.
Congratulations again to all who had done thier medicals, the TS might be up to seven weeks and may start latest mid February if not January. Before you will proceed to TS you probably will be invited to Documentation process where you will be expected to submit some documents, most important of it are
1. Guarantor with an international passport that will expired in next two years.
2. Three references who must be clergymen, senior civil servants or businessmen, you will need to get their business card and passport photographs.
3. signed a two years bond on N2m or thereabouts with rotary seal. Sometimes you can get someone at the documentation venue.
4. Corporate photographs, which maybe up to 12 copies for your documentation and official ID card, etc

The good news is that, you don't necessarily need to have all this complete before TS but you must provide ALL before the completion of your TS.
IT IS BEST TO COMPLETE YOUR DOCUMENTATION BEFORE TS.

You will also be lucky to get first hand information on the Bank and how it operates as some converted contract staff will join the training school.

Check the below picture for the last set for guide and there may not be much difference, the pays lip is not mandatory even the letter for you guys.

1. Is the FSLC compulsorily required? I don't have it and I'd imagine most of us don't as well
2. Can we use the NIMC slip in lieu of the plastic Identity card? We've not been given the plastic despite constant visitation to their office and that's my only reasonable source of identity for now.


I'd appreciate responses and if any of us have any burgeoning question as regards this process, please do not hesitate to ask.

Shey no be so men do the dragnet test last year and they said we will be contacted soon & the 'soon' turned to after one year .

I don't think there should be a cause of concern here. We've already been told the definitive date TS would begin and barring any unforseen calamitious circumstances, it would go ahead as planned. While I agree the anxious wait can be killing! we shall probably be contacted between now and the end of next week.
Let's continue to keep the faith, we're almost there. . .

Not particularly. It was an invitation for medicals after which training school will start. TS will indeed commence on Jan 18 but it is after medicals and documentation. Calls are still rolling in, let us all keep faith!

You can get value for money in Nigerian second hands too you know. I got an HP pavilion dv6 with 8 gb ram, with an AMD quadcore powered processor and 1.5 gb dedicated vram in computer village. For a measly price of 65k, coupled with the fact that I have been using this system for more year and it plays fifa 15 as smoothly as you could ever wish for, you can't ask for better.

Yes, just log in to your portal. There is a tab with "check admission status" it is clearly obvious on the portal and I'm frankly surprised I'm being asked this question.

Kindly keep us abreast of any changes on the admission status on our respective portals. As of today, mine is still reading "not recommended, check back later"
