I used root checker and it replied "Sorry,this device doesn't have proper root access "....Any idea?

How do I know It's rooted?.. all I did was to download and install and then I opened it..I then clicked on boomir Or So...a message was displayed showing that super su and super user has been installed and that I should reboot..When. I did that,it showed android upgrading while rebooting

How do I know if It's successfully rooted?

I need your advice pals,I Honestly need your counsel.

I just finished my o.n.d,and looking to further.I intend to apply for a direct entry into the university But for a while now I have been contemplating going to petroleum training institute at Delta state.the reason is because they are well grounded When. It comes to practicals,they are not affected by asup and It's strikes,,and the time factor.after two years,I get to collect my HND certificate and move on.

The downside to Me is that they award hnd certificate Which is a limiter in itself in Nigeria, and majorly Co's of the kind of institute it is,seems to Me that they will only train Me for the oil industry though am a student of electrical /electronics Which itself is very versatile. I feel It's a risk being. A specialist considering this country.

The jamb form is out again and I need to decide.

Please advise Me based on exposure and experience.

lillies: young man relax, b4 my time(5yr ago) oau accepts applications 4m al schs (private and govt.) it was durin my time dy stopd acptn private schs applicatn, strictly govt. (state/fed) schs. Dnt b dcvd dia is no preferential treatmnt given to any sch. Its al rumour, it does nt exist, dia is notin like dat! All nabteb aprovd schs are equal. And if i may ask u, wat criteria did u use in classifyn some polytchncs as low rate? Becos dey r state poly? U must b a funny person. 4 d record, people 4m oda schs hav KILLER gps of 3.9 above. D fact dat u havnt seen any or dnt hv such doesnt mean it does nt exist! Anytm u com arnd oau campus, take a trip 2 faculty of tech. Chck out d roll of honours dia, brother it is jaw dropping, u wl c guys wt 4.97 abve! If a man born of a woman can get a cgpa of 4.97 in OAU, den 3.97 shldnt b an issue my brother. Well said..4.97 implies that the student must have had an A in about 6 out of 7 courses Or 7 out of 8 courses in the university,impressive But I ask you one question,have you graced the four walls of the polytechnic? And what do you have to say about the grading system?..3.6 in yabatech shows that you probably had an A in 10 out of 11 courses..now what happens is that you have A1 in some and A2 in some,That's Where the ish lies.at the university, A1 is A,A2 is also A..5 points straight up..unlike 4.0 and 3.5 respectively in the polytechnic....

Correct Me Please,But I feel a cgpa of 3.63 should be appreciated..I also feel that if you can have such in a polytechnic of high standard like yabatech,then nothing stops you from having 5.00 at least 4 out of eight semesters...

lillies: D.E in faculty of Tech. Is 4 years. I.e 4 elect/chem/mse/agric/mech/comp/civil.
D.E is by merit, so if u have a gp of 3.7 dont be too certain because about 50 people can have a gp of 3.80 above. And if only 10 slots available some1 with a gp of 3.7 is almost out of the game. Ur o level doesnt count here, na durin faculty clearance dey go demand that one. Nobdy luks at it wen givin u admisn, OAU EXPECTS YOU TO HAVE YOUR O'LEVEL ALREADY!
