Sanusy has a point...osunstate is on point...nothing wrong in that sanusy.inasmuch as Futa is competitive in engineering he stands a better chance if he applies for both..that's why I asked for the department he wants to apply to,cos the sciences are less competitive compared to engineering at Futa.

Somatohadidas: if you are planning for DE into UNILORIN,you'll have to obtain UTME form too. Thats how they do it over there.It is because DE candidates will have to take post-utme with the Jambites in Unilorin

Btw, I just got admitted to study this honourable course and I have also taken my time to learn wiring, though it's remaining conduit wiring to be certified electrician.

Learn at every opportunity... Deal with the theory and learn practicals when you should..the universities are much more concerned with the mathematics ND theoretical analysis of circuits..let's practicals follow..understand what's in the book first cos that's what the universities demand.. Its a very enjoyable course... Vee equals to hi r..that's the basis of elect elect....winks

Ekushito: actually, i saw some not too expensive technos with 1gig ram. Yeah av read about M5 specs But am unsure, in that i remembered when techno was just china phone where u cant download java games n most apps. Hope that doesnt apply to android? Hope its not that most apps cant run on it? And gpu aspect, can they play those hd games like samsung, lg, htc etc? And the most important, (why i fear techno the most), like we have it b4 in those small technos, such that when it falls, the screen gets spoilt with ink splashed on the screen like that sha n even u dont get to see techno specialist easily n even when u do, u get charged an amount that could get two nokia touchlites. Who can confirm to me that, the first day the M5 will fall wont be the day i will go bak to my nokia c5.

M5 is brilliant... Go for it...I use it presently...and request for the flip case else they might not give you...they might even tell you it doesn't have one.
The battery is excellent..1800mah..works better that that value...

Am particular about jellybean and not ICS... Those phones don't permit users to move apps to sdcard..I don't know about ics cos I have only used jellybean all my life

My brother...I have used the lg optimus..its cute but wont advise you to spend on it....don't know about the Samsung but my candid advise is that since you are after an entry level smartphone,go for a Chinese brand like tecno because they offer more value for money at these prices.. Better specs and cool accessories..

The reknown brands are just good at the flagship level but I won't even buy a Samsung flagship device when I can get a gionee with same or better specs half the price.am quite experienced with these devices cos its been a while...

Buy neither fones..go for tecno or gionee...you won't regret it.

@mcbussy.its true that you can't install apps on memory card the the l.g and Samsung.. Am very sure. Of that..you need to be sure of these things before you score another fellow.. I used the optimus for quite some time..you just can't download to memory card..except media... So you get to use a limited number of applications and have to frequently clean up RAM.. What's the joy in that?

A Chinese brand will permit you to move apps to s.d card...your phone will retain its brilliant performance and with a gig of ram..you are just so on point...

Now lecturers can sit on their sofa at home and conveniently bombard students with assignments...hmmm....does digitalising a school make it the best?..hmmm..wait..sending assignments from home,teaching from home,now what happens between the hours of 8am and 5pm?..
Hmmmm....well,if learning is not compromised then it might be a welcome idea..hmmm...maybe in the near future no one will have to go to school at all,lectures will teach from home, students will learn from home,the senate will meet from home,even examination will be from home..hmm..digital school indeed..

These people are nuts..instead of investing in state of the art facilities and turning out state of the art graduates,they prefer to be a state of the art consumer...hmmm...well,I think I love this school,a school where every student owns an iPad...indeed they are better by far..

I heard of a guy that studied mechanical engineering at Yaba college of technology, he had upper credit at both national diploma and higher national diploma levels.thereafter,he moved to unilag via direct entry into part 3..news had it that he emerged overall best graduating student with a cgpa of 4.98 or so and was sent to M.I.T in the u.s....that's someone who wasn't able to bag distinction at yabatech...

The universities don't train, what's the essence of theoretical knowledge that isn't applied?..I observed the trend and noticed that graduate engineers seek refuge in the I.c.t industry.then I wonder,why study mechanical or electrical engineering and the run to infotech?..they start a new career, run after ccna,ccia and the likes..bros,they don't know the engineering they studied for five years...not that its their fault..its just that the system is faulty..theory for five years and when they grad,they tend to be unemployable..

Well,whatever we believe,the fact remains that the university certificate is more recognized.. Buh everyone has to understand that its not cos university graduates are better off...its just they way its been..I even had to stop my immediate younger brother from going to a polytechnic I graduated from..
