Yaungdee: I bet u don't have the statistic of those that av written their exams...over 15 schools suspended their exams so not OOU. didn't u read in d dailies that ASUU threatens those schools that have conducted their exams and the results might be rendered invalid?

OOU is just wasting time to earn more money , dey knw people who failed in oda skuls putme will come and obtain form......virtually all d schools dat suspended d putme have re-scheduled/written d exam, even during d strike. ASUU can't render any result invalid as putme is always conducted by NASU members.........VIRTUALLY ALL SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA HAVE WRITTEN D EXAM, Bleep OOU!!!

u are very right jor. Schools can use business committee approval, V.C signature etc in place of senate approval.

thanks jawe broda, I said it in dis room but it's like some people did not want to hear dat, so I quited, I don't like to argue..........dis is a fact dat I heard from d dean DSA of my school.

Plsss how much is OOU schools fees and acceptance fee for mass comm(indegene)?...........also wanna knw d cost of living in Ago, is it dat exorbitant or otherwise?

christabeli: During approval of result by senate, the authencity of d said result is looked into.Which was how they discovered two students from my set that forged result to clear their outstanding.NOW IN AS MUCH AS WE ALL WANT TO SERVE DIS NOV AND WE WILL,IT IS GOOD DT WE NOT DOUBT OR QUESTION THE ROLE OF THE SENATE AS PER RESULT AS MANY OF US ARE ALREADY DOING.IF IT IS SOLELY D WORK OF DSA AS 1 OF US SAID HERE DT MEANS DT WE CAN ALL GO TO DSA TO GET ANY RESULT OF OUR CHOICE

Nothing concerns nysc with your senate
they only work on the names they are given because they believe your dsa has already gone through all necessary procedures before shortlisting
I know a couple of guys who were mobilized from my school without any senate stuff
It was on a man know man levels because they were obviously going to graduate anyways
the only problem was just the senate and the timing

hmmmmmm......just hearin dis for d first tym oo. Although, there's notin impossible in Nija, but bros, dat's d protocol. U can check NYSC site for procedures/requirement for mobilisation.

WinnieDPooh: We are still saying the same thing. If we are mobilised now for example, a list will be pasted for us to cross check if our data is correct at DSA notice board. Before it will be finally sent to NYSC. The second list that will later be pasted will contain all the names and call -up numbers. If for example mr A's name was spelt wrongly in the first list and he complains, the second list will contain his name spelt correctly and his call up number. I hope i'm understood now. That is how it is done in OAU.

Buh what winnieDpooh is trying to say here is dat DSA will paste a list for prospective corp members to check b4 its sent to NYSC for the 1st time and later it wud b return by NYSC for correction during sept ending as u rightly stated and it wil b pasted again by DSA for correction d second time. So I tink both of u are right.

WinnieDPooh: Not graduating list. A mobilisation list is normally pasted at DSA twice for people to confirm errors in either name, matric no, state of origin, date of birth etc before it is finally sent to NYSC hq. I checked a friends own last year.

correction of d error is d main reason why dey paste mobilisation list.........we are sayin d same tin, it's d name we call it dat differs. D one u checked last yr at d DSA should be around a month to d arrival af d call-up letter if u can still remember. ONE LOVE
