There's no cheap university in the UK o. The least you can get is around N6m...that's not cheap

Guys I have been in the uk for just 2weeks and I can tell you that you really need to be prepared financially and emotionally. This student japa route is not for the weak. It’s not cheap and it’s not an easy journey.

This might be to the guys/gals still seeking admission or has offers already. Please before you accept that offer that has a deposit of 1k or 2k read the terms and conditions very well, understand what happens after the 2k deposit. Wether you would require further deposit before enrolment . Understand the payment plan options and all.



With this guys please let’s us not see this educational route as sure japa means of we have not planned financially and otherwise. It’s not cheap to survive here. Another thing is that be sure that 20hrs work can never pay for your tuition balance.

Some people are already even before one year turning to illegal immigrants. Please I beg let us be guided and have a proper plan from Nigeria. This land is a land of “Mind your business “ and “On your Own” . All man for himself. Na only your family fit help you here and it has limits.

I just hope those who come here to ask 'which school has the lowest deposit in UK are listening ?
A lot of people choose Sheffield Hallam not because the school is cheap but because they have the lowest deposit. They forget that 50% of the total fees must be paid on enrollment and the balance paid 4 months later.
Before you choose that school, look out for their payment plan please.

Good day folks, I spoke to Nigerian representative of Sheffield Hallam Uni about the chances of someone with HND in SLT cgpa of 2.93... his response was like they are not going to give her an offer, he also said no school is going to offer her an admission because she has a lower credit.

Is there any truth to this? And are there any advices from people who have been in a similar situation? Thanks

Instead of asking the school's representatives just apply to the school. Admission for Masters in the UK is not as difficult as most people say. There's no application fees, so apply to like 10 schools( I did the same).
I can confirm these schools accept HND Lower Credit.
