Can we Nigerians learn to just try to understand first before responding ?

Have i said prosperity is bad or that it is not needed for evangelism? Have I downplayed the importance of resources in kingdom expansion? All I have said is that the attacks on poor Christians and portrayal of poverty as a sin has no Christian foundation .

In fact in Mark 12:41-44, Jesus talked about those Elon muskes you mentioned . He said a widows mite has more impact than their 100 million donations.

No body is attacking poor Christians, all I am saying is as a christian, you have no right to be poor because in Christ you are already living in the Blessings of Abraham and one of those blessings is prosperity

So if you are a Christian that is financially struggle, you go back to the bible and study what the Word says to be prosperous and do it

For example Joshua 1:8 is a blueprint you can use to become prosperous here on earth buy how many Christians know about Joshua 1:8 talk more of doing what it says


Its the same for sickness, in Christ every Christian is sickness free because the life of Christ is in that Christian, which means any Christian that is facing sickness should also apply Joshua 1:8 and that Christian will recover because as a Christian, divine life is at work in you

So did God hate the poverty of Jesus when he was on earth according to the verse above?

Was the gospel of Jesus also preached to the rich?

Christ came to take our place so that through faith we patake in His place of Glory and splendour

My point is that the pentecostal church has develooed an unhealthy focus on wealth that is why some pastors can insult those they perceive as poor people .

If a pastor has poor members, it is up to the members to put the Word of God to work and become Rich so that they can take care of the needs of the church


Go and ask pastor that is pastoring poor members and ask him how he is coping with financing big crusade worth millions of naira and you will be surprise with his Lamentations


Do you know that God wants churches to be hosting mass Evangelism crusade everytime, but because of the financial limitations of the church members those crusade are done once in a while



My guy prosperity is very important for the gosepl no matter how you want to spin it, if a church has 5 Elon musk, do you know how many evangelism crusade that church will be organizing in a month, just because of the presence of 5 mega billionaires

You probably must have gone to school where in 1 year up to 8 different courses were taught you and you didn't complain that they should only teach one course, but you have a mentality that it's not possible for pastors to preach different aspects of the gospel. It must all be salvation every day.
Even Jesus teachings touched all aspects of life. So please do well to improve on your mentality

These people forget that no christian, whether pastor or members is suppose to be poor once he becomes a christian

You need money to buy church land, build church auditorium that will host thousands of people

You need money to buy equipment that cost millions of naira

Do you think the money to provide all this will fall from heaven?

No, it will come through the members of the church and if the members are not financially boyant, how can the church run the ministry effectively?

You still dont get the point . I am not against pastors being wealthy. For me they dont even have to work . If people choose to give them all their money ,without compulsion ,who am I to be against that.

My issue is distorting the bible to make it seem our faith and our Lord despises poor people. It is wrong and should be strongly condemned

God does not hate poor people but He hate poverty and poverty mindset
