Hillsong - I Desire Jesus

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KM07zyBP39M

I desire Jesus
Precious Lamb who ransomed me
Upon the cross He took my sin
And by His blood has set me free

I desire Jesus
Oh His Name my soul esteem
For upon His thorn-scarred brow
Is the crown of victory

He is worthy of all honor
All Glory to His Name
He alone deserves our highest Praise
And forever He will Reign

I desire Jesus
Triumphant One the earth awaits
For on that day the earth will shine
With the Glory of Your Name

You are worthy of all honor
All Glory to Your Name
You alone deserve our highest praise
And forever You will Reign

You are all Glorious
You are all Glorious
My heart leans in
My soul must sing
You are all Glorious

I desire Jesus
Precious Lamb who ransomed me
Unto You an offering
Will my life forever be

Davigle:
Now that we are in the new season, we need a way forward that can make both our FTA platforms active and engaging. In other to tackle this issue, I am proposing to the house and to my fellow admins and I will like everyone's sincere contribution on this issue. Inorder to keep both the Nairaland platform which is our base and headquarters and also the telegram branch active as well, I am suggesting that we lock the telegram group on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, that means the telegram branch will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays which captures more than 50% of the trading days of the week. In my humble opinion, I think this gives both the Nairaland platform and the telegram platform to coexist without killing the other platform as we have painfully observed over the years. I'd like everyone's thoughts on this.

My honest advice

Open TG only from Friday to Sunday

Those exempted from paying tax will still pay it indirectly through buyingg and selling of goods and sdrvices because those people selling goods and services will increase their prices because of tye new tax rule

The problem with poor people is that they don't think with their brains but they prefer other people to help them to think

My 2025 trading journey can be summarized by this Holy Scripture:

2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

My 2025 trading year has been pivotal for me because this is the year I finally got funded and received my first payout.
After starting the year strongly, I entered into a deep drawdown in the month of May, but I thank God that my risk management strategy saved my account from blowing up.

WHAT I LEARNED

- You can ask God for a profitable strategy, and He will gladly give it to you (Matthew 7:7). I am a living testimony to this truth, because the strategy I currently use was given to me by God Almighty after I asked Him for help.

- Simplicity is king in this business.

- Patience, pain, probability, and persistence are the four parts of the process—you need all four to be profitable.

- Your trading psychology depends on how well you understand the ins and outs of your strategy.

- Profitable traders focus on the process, while unprofitable traders focus on the outcome.

- Trade execution is everything in this business.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON

- Inconsistency: I’ve noticed that the trades I enter often hit SL, while the trades I fail to enter end up hitting TP. This can be fixed by being battle-ready and consistently executing my setup whenever I spot it on my chart.

- Entry timing: I sometimes miss trades due to poor timing when spotting and executing setups.

WHAT I HAVE IMPROVED ON

- Patience: Understanding my strategy has helped me become more patient. I know what I want from the chart, and if I don’t see it, I sit on my hands until I do.

- Improved psychology: Accepting that strategic losses as part of the game has helped me to trust my strategy during losing streaks.

- Identifying my entry trigger.

- Sticking to what works.

- Reducing revenge trading to the bare minimum.

- Trading only one strategy: 2025 is the year I stopped trading multiple strategies and became serious with just one. Instead of jumping from strategy to strategy after a losing streak, I examined and refined my strategy into a simpler and more effective version.

- Journaling all trades that followed my strategy.

- Focusing on the process instead of the outcome during losing streaks.

ADVICE TO NEWBIES

- If you feel confused or want to give up, ask God for direction (Psalm 119:105).

- Trust the process regardless of the outcome.

- Understand the four parts of the process:
I. Patience: Waiting for the right setup to mature, waiting for TP, and the Patience to endure to the very end.
II. Pain: Strategic losses are part of the process—profitable traders experience losing trades too.
III. Probability: Trade outcomes happen at random. Don’t cry if your A+ setup hits SL and your C setup hits TP.
IV. Persistence: Keep showing up, even during losing streaks.

- Don’t tell everyone you trade forex—let your results do the talking.

- Don’t trade prop accounts if you haven’t found your edge yet. Instead, hunt for giveaway accounts on Twitter while refining your skills on a demo account.

- Be intentional—do the right thing at the right time

SUMMARY

2025 has been a pivotal year in my trading career. I finally found a strategy that suits my lifestyle, passed multiple accounts, got funded, and received my first payout. I am ever grateful for my progress in 2025, and I am super hopeful that 2026 will be even more glorious for us all, in Jesus’ name. Amen 🙏

MY ALABASTER BOX BY MAYA AND LOVEWORLD SINGERS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLePBBlDWj8

With tears in her eyes
And gratitude in her heart
She carried her choicest perfume
In an alabaster box
She fell at JESUS’ Feet
And poured it on His Feet
Sobbing with gratitude
With her hair she wiped His Feet

I am here to say Thank You
For Loving me
For Loving someone like me
I am here to say Thank You
With my alabaster box
As my offering to You

Just like that woman
Am here to Thank You LORD
With my hands lifted up
For all You’ve Done for me
And with a Grateful Heart
My Praise Offering I bring
I stand before Your Presence
Oh LORD, I Worship You

I am here to say thank You
For Saving me
For all You’ve Done for me
I lift my voice to say thank You
For Loving me
For all You’ve Done for me

With my lips filled with praise
Just want to say thank You
With a Grateful Heart
Just want to say thank You
You Filled my life with Your Glory
And gave me Victories
For all You’ve Done for me
I just want to say…

Thank You
Thank You

For all You’ve Done for me
I just want to say thank You

With my alabaster box
As an offering to You

And the vastness of the oceans You crafted

The skies are filled with Your glory
As the stars illuminate with Your praise
And all creation bless Your holy name
In glorious harmonious melodies

At Your command oh God, the stars of light
twinkle in flawless rhythmic motion
With every twinkle of starlight
Revealing a glory-light from You,
Beyond description

We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship
We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship today, today
Your instruments of worship today

We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship
We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship today, today
Your instruments of worship today

The cosmos roars Your praises
The universe erupts with Your praise
To You Lord their creator
The God who made all things

The foundations of the earth are held
By the pillars of Your Word
By You, all things consist
For Your decrees are irrevocable

At Your command oh God, the stars of light
twinkle in flawless rhythmic motion
With every twinkle of starlight
Revealing a glory-light from You,
Beyond description

We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship
We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship today, today
Your instruments of worship today

We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship
We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship today, today
Your instruments of worship today

How beautiful we look
When we sing praises to You holy God
Most beautiful God
Your praises make us lovely and radiant before You
And bring You great delight, Almighty God

We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship
We are Your instruments of praise
Your instruments of worship today, today
Your instruments of worship today

You are worthy to be praised
You’re magnificent and beautiful
You are worthy to be praised
You are gracious and wonderful

We lift our hands in praise
You alone deserve our worship, Almighty God

You are worthy to be praised
You’re magnificent and beautiful
You are worthy to be praised
You are gracious and wonderful

We lift our hands in praise
You alone deserve our worship, Almighty God

Almighty God, Almighty God

2 Peter 2:1 False prophets were among God's people in the past, as false teachers will be among you. They will secretly bring in their own destructive teachings. They will deny the Lord, who has bought them, and they will bring themselves swift destruction.

I pray you receive the True Word of God into your spirit right now in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen 🙏

Lukuluku69:
The bolded was Jesus right?

If that was truly Jesus, I would do the same rather than wait for the next Revival or Sunday Service to give testimony.

Enjoy your evening Sir!

please one last time, answer my question with either a yes or no answer thank you very much, did LORD JESUS CHRIST said that the man should share the testimony with LORD JESUS CHRIST privately or with his friends publicly?

And if he can share the testimony with his friends publicly, why can't he share it with his brothers and sisters in the Lord publicly?

Lukuluku69:
So, until testimonies are shared, people will be blind to the Goodness of God in this our present time?

I th8nk not and whether testimonies are shared or not, the Goodness of God is ever present. You don't have to be visited by a miracle to testify to the Goodness of God.

That aside, when God favoured you in His Infinte mercy, show gratitude and praise His name everly and do not wait for a church programme before you do that for Jesus never told those he healed to go to the synagogue to share God's ever present Goodness.

You talk as if all men has the same level of faith

If the LORD JESUS CHRIST admonish us to share to others about the Goodness of God so that it can bring Glory to God and at the same time stir up faith in others, who are you to do otherwise?

St. Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

St. Mark 5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

Besides, if no one share their testimony, how will people believe that God is still doing miracles today?

This will be my last response to you, because it seems like you are blindled by your own opinion, rather than the opinion of God that told us to share our testimonies with people so that their faith can be strength and that they may believe

Have a blessed day
Bye bye 👋

But I pray that your heart be made open to God's Truth because;

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Lukuluku69:
1. So, you are saying if anyone receievd healings or favour, he/she should go back amd thank the Pastor?

2. Jesus asked him to go show himself to people so that they will know that the Messiah promised has come.

It is not a show off thi g or the testimony you have in churches now. It was done to let people know that he is here.

Now, when testimonies are done today what do you here?

"Olohun Babalola has done it again"

"The Lord of Choosen has done it again"

"Other Christians denominations will beg you for money" etc

Show me where I said that pastors should recive the thanksgiving?

When people share testimonies, it is to tell other people about the goodness of God in their life and also to stir up faith in others facing similar challenges

Besides your point 2 has answered you already because that is what testimony is all about, that is to tell others about the Goodness of GOD towards mankind, so if people don't come out to share their testimonies, how will people know about the Goodness of God in this our present time?

Lukuluku69:
You just agreed to by submission that rather than take the Microphone and start giving testimonies, praise the Lord thy God.

Give thanks, praise Him and go in peace! Go thy way!

Question 1: From the scripture above, did LORD JESUS CHRIST tell the man to keep it to himself or tell others about his healing?

Question 2: did the man Give thanks, praise Him and went his way, or did he go to Decapolis and told the people of Decapolis about the great things LORD JESUS CHRIST had done for him?

LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD ALMIGHTY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

1 John 5:20 And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true–in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). This [Man] is the true God and Life eternal.

prinsam30:
Exactly my brother not all this God did this , God did that

prinsam30:
Seriously speaking my brother

bakobenjamin198:
Thank God that you got my point. The truth is that, there are countless things that would help build people's faith aside public testimonies. Mind you, I am not against "testimonies," but rather, I am against " Public testimonies," because of its intimidating effect.
So, emphasis should mostly be laid on "love," that is, "the love of God and humanity," which is the greatest of the commandments that Jesus gave us which is greater than any bullshit "faith building."

Lukuluku69:
Testimonies?

Rather praise and thank your Lord for His mercies upon you.

Thank amd Praise God.

Do you know that your refusal to share the goodness of God in your life is deep rooted in pride and ungratefulness
