Abduleeda1: May 26th should be the day we receive our offer letters if we’re to follow the same number of days between application deadline and receipt of offer letter for the 22/23 set, because that process lasted for 239 days (22nd November 2022 - 19th July 2023).
We’re currently 186 days into this campaign, on the 186th day they were already done with the AC for the Abuja folks and were doing that of Lagos.
Overthinking wan kee son of man… You know 22/23 set didn't undergo 2 assessments like we did, (actually 3, if we consider the two batches of the 1st assessment separately) so you might need to factor that into your expectations. But then, it's still very much possible for the process to be completed by July. |

JobsLever: Typical NLNG Recruitment Funnel
1️⃣ Total applications: Around 50,000+ applicants usually apply for the Graduate Trainee program.
2️⃣ Shortlisted for SHL aptitude test: About 10,000 – 15,000 candidates are invited to write the online SHL assessment.
3️⃣ Candidates who pass the test: Less than 20% of test takers proceed to the next stage.
4️⃣ Assessment Center shortlist: This usually leaves roughly 100 – 300 candidates invited to the NLNG Assessment Center (depending on the recruitment year and number of roles). Evidence from past interview reports shows the AC is conducted in small groups (about 20 candidates per day) with several exercises like group discussion, presentations, and interviews.
Estimated Numbers at the Assessment Center Typical estimate from past cycles: Stage Estimated Candidates Applications ~50,000 SHL Aptitude Test 10,000 – 15,000 Passed Test 1,000 – 2,000 Assessment Center 100 – 300 Final Job Offers 50 – 150 Important Insight Reaching the Assessment Center stage already means you are among roughly the top 0.2% – 0.5% of applicants. That’s why NLNG AC is very competitive — candidates are evaluated on: Case study analysis Group discussion Presentation Behavioral interview Technical interview Lmao. So 50 - 150 people are getting the job offer now? How come? What happened to the "na only 10 people dem go pick" you've been saying since? Seems like you also don't trust the authenticity of the "information" you're spreading. |

vahonohai: Where do you get your info from? You sound like you use generative AI to come up with responses to make yourself look smart or informed.
Caveat: All I will say is that while this account has shared some helpful 'general' information, take anything that sounds company specific with a pinch of salt. It's definitely AI generated. |

Artsynatty: For the AC, I feel like we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. Two weeks is a long shot. I've zeroed my mind to two months, give or take a few days.
How nice it would be if they sent it next week, though. Can you imagine our excitement when we get a positive email? Oh, I wish! I agree with this. Seeing as the waiting period was 2 months for the last recruitment, I'm guessing 6 - 8 weeks this time too. |

airsaylongcome: Getting slammed with bans when I post links If this is the framework that would be used to grade the JFA, then I'm a bit relieved. I think I centered majority of my selections around Collaboration, Adaptation, Analysis, Execution and Performance. |

Vickqwerty: you’re right…If you were observant during the job-focused questions, you’d see they were all centered on their core values. There was one question where I almost chose an option that would have compromised safety. The other options weren't necessarily bad, but they would have pushed safety to the side. In my opinion, those job-focused sections carry their own mark, just like the numerical and the other sessions. I stand to be corrected sha I agree. Each of the tests will definitely be scored. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by TrafalgarESQ: 1:42pm On Feb 25 |
Artsynatty: But, why though? Why can't they just wait till the interview stage to know if the person is indeed a fit? Another way to reduce the numbers for the interviews, probably? If there even is an interview stage this time. I may be wrong, but I don't think they had one during the 2022 recruitment. |

Artsynatty: I envy people like you. I'm an overthinker and perfectionist, and I almost always take my time to do things well. This might be considered a kryptonite in a recruitment where time is of the essense, but I just hope that they don't compromise excellence and attention to detail while encouraging speed. I hope so too. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by TrafalgarESQ: 1:11pm On Feb 25 |
Vickqwerty: I heard that too... but the thing is, it’s not really about seeing the questions beforehand, they repeated one practice question in those bubbles, but I failed it. The real thing is after seeing them(questions), were they actually able to solve them correctly? Back in secondary school and Uni, I noticed a pattern, people who always claimed to have seen the exam questions usually ended up failing more than those who actually used their heads. I just sha know that If it’s meant for you, it will come. No need to stress over who saw what. I get what you mean, but imagine seeing 5 questions you've correctly solved previously, and they're repeated during your test. That saves you a lot of time that you could use on the remaining 5 questions. We can't ignore the kind of advantage that would be. Sure, not everyone might be able to make use of the advantage but it's still an advantage over others. |

deesk: This is my second post on this thread since November last year.
The value being offered here sometimes makes it easy to just be a spectator, lol. I hope to be more interactive during the remaining part of this recruitment process. I have already gotten in btw, I'm just going through the process to make sure it materializes. Can you elaborate more on your last sentence? You've already gotten in? |

Vickqwerty: it’s going to take miracle for me to cross to the next stage after what happened. And I’m not really the type to bank on miracles. But who knows? Maybe God wants to use this whole mess to prove to me that miracles actually exist. I get what you mean. I took the assessment on the second day, and the way the screenshots of the assessment questions had flooded the WhatsApp groups by Friday? I don't even know what to expect. Someone who took the assessment on Sunday said they saw 5 questions repeated for the numerical. I was bewildered. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by TrafalgarESQ: 10:45am On Feb 25 |
Jobbernath: If u were sure of those 5 questions u might have a upper hand. In a test like this, lots of people skip questions or input answers they aren't sure of just to beat time. Honestly. I was so confident in my speed from the practice tests but that numerical assessment had me shaking. Got to the 10th question with about 40 seconds left. I just looked at the question for about 10 seconds and decided on an answer. Anything to avoid possible deductions? I'll take it. |

Vickqwerty: Finally off the one-week restriction….Honestly, that second CA really caught most of us off guard, after writing those numerical questions, I officially decided to take my japa plans much more seriously. I mean, 18 minutes for 10 (30plus) questions? And then each question having three children attached? I’m just praying they consider a more favorable grading scale because that was intense. But well, it is what it is. We move! The thing they did where they made you click each item was diabolical. Very smart way to waste one's time lol. |
