Stop downplaying itel brand. Olamide is not foolish to become the brand ambassador of of the brand.

People will say it's 'money' reason that informed Olamide's decision to rep itel. But in the true sense of it, some of these celebrities consider some endorsements as Little.

Obviously, Olamide saw itel's pull with Nigerians and it represented a good deal for him.

You should have watched their recent launch in India and you'd have an idea the path this company is treading.

See as you carry portrait mode like say na one exclusive feature, all these phones offer portrait mode and if you aren't content, you can download gcam which makes the already good cameras even much more better, the pixel 2 xl only has a single lens and it performs better than all these high praised quad cameras of the new budget devices.

As per design, that's what luring most people, cuz of punch hole camera design and stuff, if you're all about design you can go for the newer budget ones to suit you, the older flagships aren't ugly either.

Bro you didn't mention "2017-2018" ... you said older flagships.

I personally know up to 10 loyal itel customers & I'm just one person.

I just can't seem to fathom the negativity towards their products from high end users whom can easily patronize brands that fit that tastes and let itel advance their affordability policy.

People are trying hard to discredit itel products and you find out it's the high end users that are at the forefront of these vile campaign. And you wonder what's their business with budget phones when these smartphones are serving their purposes to the targeted consumer in arears like Battery Capacity, Camera, handy RAMS, ROMS & processors.

They don great screens as well on solid builds.

What!!!! I don't think you know what flagship devices are, imagine you saying they offer slower processors, do you know what the snapdragon 835 and 845 can still do in 2020, they play high end games on high settings smoothly.

The cameras of the older flagship offer much better quality than what you can get, please do you findings, do you know what a single lens of the pixel 2 xl can offer you, the only thing I agree with you on is the battery life, but please don't say they're offer slow charging cuz last time I checked they offer wireless and wired fast charging.

Oga, some older "flagship" phone cameras do not offer portrait mode which people so much like.

Some of their cameras lack depth sensors.

Some of their designs fail to capture the evolving techs around smartphone design. One can spot you are holding an old phone from afar.

Some of them are shit with those annoyingly large bezels.

Some of them are Dual cores sef.

I can go on and on.

My interview was by 8:00m but I got there by 5:29am. I met 6 people there already waiting and I joined them. When it was some minutes to 6am,a woman asked us why came this early and we told her some of us had appointment by 6am,she was so shocked. She said she was expecting 7am as the earliest time for appointments.
So,she took her time before she started attending to us. We were asked to line up and we did security check before we started going inside the building in 5.
The V.O denied the first two ladies. They were married and working. Only one came with her kid. The 6 people that followed were given. Two were going for undergraduate,one PhD and 3 masters. Three have started their courses online.
I was the 9th person that was attended to.
V.O :- Good morning
Me:- Good morning (I passed my passport,I-20 and SEVIS fee confirmation page).
V.O:- Where are you going?
Me:- I am going to Georgia state university for my master's degree in Chemistry.
V.O:- Why this school?
Me:- The university has a strong reputation for research, innovation and diversity, I believe it would be an exciting place to be as I would be offered varieties in (he cuts me)
V.O:- Tell me things I can not find on the school website. You are telling me things you crammed from the school website

V.O:- How many schools did you apply to?

V.O:- Name them
Me:- Marquette university,Texas Tech, Bowling Green, Auburn university,Ohio university and GSU.

Me:- Only GSU gave me admission.

Me:- Federal University of Technology Minna.

Me:- He has big store where be sells food stuffs and provisions in wholesale and also.has trucks for transportation business.

Whatever type of phones sold in China or Asian Markets are available in Nigeria except those specifically made for their market based on some factors. Some phones are made for low income earners while some are for high earners. So, if you have you money you can buy any one. Itel has some good phones too.

My point exactly.

Brands like itel are somewhat wholly dedicated to the low income consumers and to make budget smartphones, some concessions need to be made to provide room for the main, most important specs to be optimized. Like in Nigeria, where power is whack, u gats to have big batteries etc.

The Nigerian market is quite unique, and don't forget, we are a low income people. Lot's of these specs would mean added prices, so some need to be dialed down for important specs such as battery cap, screen and camera to be optimized.

There are lots of low income people out there who deserve to own smartphone too you know.

This product is great for such category of people. And they get to have good camera, commendable screen size and fast internet. All for this price.

Nawaoo, after reading all the praises about this itel, I had to go Google about its specs. Meehn, it's not it joor. 1gb ram and 16gb rom. At this age and time? At least 2/3gb ram and 32gb rom with its battery would have made more sense. The phone will be hanging most of the times. If you use this phone to view and download all the clips being circulated in this #endsars time. It's memory will just crash

Bro, Itel's manufacturing could be targetted. They wouldn't just churn out phones.

With these specs you mentioned, it'll no longer be budget you know.

So this I guess is for those who do low activities on their devices or back up devices.

Itel seems to be evolving at a pace.

Prioritizing screen, processor and camera technology while not jettisoning battery capacity like other brands do.

This is commendable.
