Why would he play April Fool on such a sensitive topic? The sense of humour flies over my head
In Seun's defence, he did not mention any name. He did however made it easy for us to guess he was referring to Jarus..

One thing I've noticed over time in this country is that it is very easy to pontificate and form political correctness when the subject matter of discussion is far from home and doesn't necessarily affect on u directly ; however if the matter hits home u will lose Ur cool and express Ur opinion as spiritedly as u can without caring whose ox is gored.

PS: I DO NOT SUPPORT JUNGLE JUSTICE AND DO NOT BELIEVE ANYBODY DESERVES TO BE LYNCHED OR MURDERED ON MERE ALLEGATIONS/SUSPICIONS. I DO NOT SUPPORT IT EITHER IN THE NORTH OR THE SOUTH. I ALSO DONT THINK ANYBODY SHOULD BE KILLED EITHER BY ANY SHARIAH COURT OR BY FEW HUMANS CONSPIRING TOGETHER SIMPLY BECAUSE THE PERSON MADE PROVOCATIVE STATEMENTS .

That being said, I came to conclusion in the first paragraph above long after my friend's mum was killed by fulani herdsmen while the mum and dad were traveling on the expressway to Akure during Buhari's term in office when Fulani herdsmen made themselves king of the roads and forests operating in broad daylight without hindrance.

We all read about Fulani herdsmen attacks in the papers and on a daily basis we see Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu yapping nonsense, gaslighting the people talmabout Fulanis being herders and not gunmen 🤬.

I didn't really pay much attention to such news until my childhood friend's mum was murdered in cold blood by the murderous fulani militia. It really hit home getting to fins out that the woman who used to serve us refreshment while we play Playstation in their house during holidays was gunned down by some blood sucking demons in a bid to stage kidnap on the road. The incident didn’t even make it to any newspaper front page .

Then a certain Tinubu while thinking only about his political future downplayed the incident few months after a similar incident happened which claimed the life of Pa Fasoranti daughter's life. He was asking : WHERE ARE THE COWS? 🥵

Just last week Abaribe made a move to immortalize Nwosu for his role in the June 12 elections . One of the numerous people who stood against this move was Olamilekan Solomon “Yayi” representing Ogun West senatorial district . He expressed himself without any attempt at political correctness ; he pointed out how he lost his younger brother to the violence that followed the annulled June 12 election which Nwosu was the umpire . He spoke clearly that he will never support any move to honor Nwosu because he believed his brother would still be alive but for Nwosu’s role in the infamous annulled election . For him, it was personal and it hits home straight . The other senators who didn’t suffered similar losses might not really understand his pain but he has made his point and won’t care whether they understand or try to be politically correct .

There are videos of different people whose communities have been sacked by Fulani herdsmen from middle belt to some southern states sef. How does one tell such people to tone down their vexations about the criminal injustice system that continues to enable the murderous militia run them ragged ?

It’s easy for anybody to be telling others how to feel in this yeye country where injustice has been the order of the day right from inception , but expecting the person to feel indifferent like u do because u haven’t felt that person’s pain, NA MENT BE THAT !

A country like Nigeria with a faux criminal justice system will never work.

The same country where Boko Haram members (hardened terrorists) who waged war against their country are declared "repentant" and released back into the society either as free men or enlisted into the country's army.

A country where few criminals attack and kill military men in the south and an entire village is sacked by the military with the military authorities justifying the extra judicial killings.

A country where both educated and unlettered people from a region believe there's a justification for their fellow human to be killed because he or she insulted the prophet.

A country where leaders are afraid to call out senseless killings and criticize their blood thirsty followers for fear of losing political goodwill.

How can such country work?
👍

Amorim isn't the 1st coach that would implement 3CBs Mid Season, neither would he be the last

•Conte, a staunch disciple of 3CBs, took over at Spurs in November and qualified them for the CL. He took over a side that had lost 5 out of 7 matches in the league!

•Tuchel, another astute disciple of 3CBs took over from Fat Frank in January, led his team to a top 4 finish and won the CL!

No excuses whatsoever. They came on board, provided their respective teams with the much needed "new manager's bounce" and boom... delivered the results they were employed to get. No meaningless interviews and chochocho - na just workings and ofcourse, results!

However, Man Utd's case must always be different. If we are not blaming Global Recession, it probably would be the latest policies of Trump or the long lasting effects of COVID - there must always be one excuse!

Even If we are to give Amorim or any UTD manager some leeway and excuse that the aforementioned achievements are unattainable, finishing 15th in the league after overseeing 27 games as the gaffer - for better context, 71% of the season, is just pathetic and reeks of sheer mediocrity!

For peeps that truly put the interests of the club ahead of sentiments and unncessary emotions, most would even find it plain ridiculous that such a terrible performance is being defended to start with!

The thought alone makes one cringe!

We also firmly say NO to poor performances, mediocrity and the associated excuses!

Like you opined below, winning football matches is the topmost concern of any manager - let's cut out the sentimental and emotional BS we keep putting up in Amorim's defence

Amorim was swiftly contacted to stem the ugly tide of results under Ten hag at the early stages of the campaign. The idea behind Ten hag's sack was to proactively forestall a disastrous season that was already unfolding at that time.

It is also worthy of mention that nobody put a gun to his head to sign the deal. By appending his signature to that contract as the manager of the team, he takes full responsibility and shall be held accountable at all times.Maybe if it was stipulated in the contract that his accountability starts from next season after the purchase of players or that he wouldnt be paid his weekly wages till next season, you might have a point.

Like I earlier opined, nobody even set any lofty expectations for him this season. He hasnt been given the immediate task of Matching liverpool, neither has he been asked to qualify for the champions league

However, it simply doesn't make any sense if we are significantly worse off than we were under his predecessor who was sacked for poor results early in the season
Well written chief, detailed with solid points. Amorim is falling hand sha, but i will wait till next season to see how things go..

The apparently reduced expectations for Moyes probably because of his somewhat low pedigree and the hope that he would turn out to be another Fergie that would stay for another 25 years, to an extent, kickstarted some emotional and sentimental BS associated with the club as we speak...

In this context, Gollum's appointment is probably the only one I can pinpoint as an obvious mistake even before it happened
Ole actually started well and got us playing some fantastic counter attacking football at some point. Ole lost it when he decided to be weak and allow laziness and indiscipline rein, appointing Maguire captain and playing him when he wasn't fit amongst many other sin committed. Ole gave Lingard, Trashford, Scamcho, Dablord and others the chance to become lazy and useless because he was a weak Manager, this players could have become great here under a SAF, PEP or Ancelotti..

Take your emotion out of it and look at the big picture. I don’t enjoy Dalot stinking up the joint either.

PS We are producing some decent talents but none of them will be walking into the situation that Neville walked into with a legendary manager, several football legends to guide them on the pitch, and captain materials in nearly every position.
Why not play Heaven at RCB and push Mazraoui wb? Emotion or not, Dalot should be benched for some games.

They will do worse. And their confidence will be killed maybe forever.

What is the point of rushing the education and wrecking the potential of a youth player because the club failed to plan for the senior team?

The Players under-21 RB Ogunneye struggles enough at Under-21 and is no WB.

The Under-18 RB Kamason has just started dominating the league and has potential but is not physically ready yet.

The step up from Under-18 to senior team is huge. Especially for players with defensive duties.

We have to be logical and smart about it and not emotional, and destroy the trajectory of our academy talents just because of 2-3 months of a season that is already finished.

The Under-18 RB MIGHT be ready for minutes soon. I don’t think the Under-21 RB will ever be good enough.

Name the youth player that he should try. It is not by just throwing players on to the field.

Mazraoui is needed at CB because Yoro is not yet ready for week in week out EPL football.

Also Mazraoui’s form was continuously dipping throughout his time at RWB.
Mazraoui is poor as a WG, but he will still do the simple basic like marking and crossing. I don't know anybody from the youth, but they have right backs at under 18 and 21 who will not do worse than the useless Fraudlot..
