That was because Amorim drilled the boys well last season. They were very fit and could make swift passes. The only problem with Amorim is he was playing them out of position.

Carrick came and played them back in their natural positions, instead of him to continue with that Amorim training style and keep playing them in their favorite position, he chose to mess everything thing up by changing their training intensity and the players position.

Amorim drilled the boys but could not use them to win games consistently? And the drilling didn't last the entire season cos the players started playing slow and sluggish after the Assnal game. Carrick training system has been exposed to be very poor, so make una dey give disaster the undeserved credit...
