TravelRe: Meritchoice Connived With GCA To Swindle Over 100m For American Caregivers Jobs by Trebs: 1:47pm On May 31, 2018
Early this year, precisely, February 2018 we called to inform American Caregivers Academy that we saw an advert online from Ghalp for care-giving certification in the USA and job placements and they gave us the assurance that we can go ahead. We even asked if we could take the course on our own, and their representative said since there's an accredited body in Nigeria that we should do it with them. With this new discovery that it was authentic, we got involved. The training involved a lot of travels and some of us had to resign our jobs to take part. One of the training was to be in a UN Facility in Ghana, and he made us sleep on the road for four days but we were denied entry into Ghana by immigration officers. Thereafter we discovered that there was no UN Facility in Ghana but he told us it was used to test out perseverance. The recent developments brought a rude shock to the entire 800 students that was involved. It was discovered that he was not a medical doctor as he claimed, but a herbalist. The ACA website was cloned, and there were no job placements in the US. A lot of lives have been disrupted. Most people have lost all their money, and means of livelihood. We have reported to the Police, but we believe justice will not be served to him if money changes hands. Nigerians please help us spread the news about this scam so that they do not go unpunished. The scammers are Herbalist David Olalekan, Elizabeth Adedayo, Matron Eyitayo Brown, and Gbeminiyi Oluwabusola, and a host of others.
