While the current theme focuses on menstrual/hormonal health and hygiene, the initiative is versatile, addressing a wide range of topics relevant to female advocacy.

Under the theme, "Now that I Have My Period, What Must I Know?" the K.E.G initiative has successfully reached over 2,000 girls across more than five schools in Eti-Osa, Lagos. The program provides practical education on menstrual/hormonal health, teaching girls about the stages of the menstrual cycle, how to manage physical and mental changes, and addressing period poverty by distributing sanitary materials such as pads and wipes.

“K.E.G is more than just a program; it’s a movement to empower young girls with the knowledge they need to navigate adolescence with confidence and dignity,” says Chidimma. “Our goal is to continue evolving the initiative to cover broader topics like gender equality and mental health, always with the focus on giving girls the tools they need to thrive.”
