Birth story
Saturday 4th lost my mucus plug checked dr Google n read dat u can give birth weeks after loosing ur mucus plug I simply bought it because I wnt to share birthdate with my baby which was on d 10th n also one of his edd, Edd ws 10th n 12th. On Sunday went 4 a party n over fed I decided to dance to hasten digestion I danced to d extent dat dey were begging me to stop after sometime I noticed my pant ws wet I ws like did I pee on my body? Is peeing on ur body also part of d package? ok o, it got worst I took off my pant n ws pant less since I wasn't home by 9pm I felt a gush water flowing down frm me I ran to d bathroom immediately, d water ws very hot n d color ws green, called dh who became very scared I had to calm him down n he promised to come pick me up first tin in d morning.
Dh came as promised n we went to d hospital meanwhile all tru dat night I couldn't sleep, my hair wasn't done so I weaved my hair myself bath n by 4am I ws ready I sat down washing tv wit ac increased to maximum because I ws feeling intense heat. Got to d hospital on Monday 5th n ws admitted for PROM ( premature rupture of d membrane) a line ws fixed in my hand which ws used in passing antibiotics at time interval to prevent infection also regular monitoring of baby's heartbeat, by 10am a drug ws inserted in vjay I asked d dr d purpose of d drug he said 4 induction I said tank God dey won't b using d hotdrip on me after 4 hours another one ws inserted I ws checked 1cm dilated, ws checked again after sometime 3cm dilated, by 6pm ws checked still 3cm dilated but I wasn't feeling any pain just dull backache n abdominal pain Infact I ws still gisting wit my mum as she had already rushed down wen I told her I ws in d hospital. By 10pm another dr came to insert d ballon he tried until past 12am brought one metal he used in opening d vjay inserted n removed it over 10 times yet unable to fix it to d extent dat I couldn't take it anymore n started crying i told him to stop even d nurse wit him said dr pls stop dis woman ve tried go n call another dr to fix it dat ws wen he stopped n left but later came back dat he must fix it d nurse said she will go n call d other dr to fix it, d dr came n just one trial he fixed it I came out of d labor room started bleeding my mum ws wiping off d blood, dr said bleeding is because of prolong fixing past 2am I slept off but ws waking up to pee n to also check baby's heartbeat, past 6am d ballon ws removed I ws checked 6cm dilated den d hot drip Oxytocin I taught I escaped ws fixed d nurse said dis drip is very painful but wen d real pain start don't cry o just b praying to God I said ok. After fixing it I slept a bit den I ws woken up n d nurse ws like u carry d drip dey sleep? Cut a long story short d real pain started n I must confess it ws more painful Dan I imagined I started screaming nurse pls come o, come n remove it o, pls come n remove it small let me rest, d nurse said remove it ur self na u no get hand? I said I wnt to pee den she hold d drip n followed me to d toilet wen d pee ws becoming too much she brought a bowl n said use dis wen else u wnt to ease urself n dat ws d end of it, well went to heaven n back ws checked 8cm dilated after sometime I ws taken to d labour room n ws checked 10cm dilated but no urge to push dey said I should lye on my back till d urge comes but I couldn't, d nurse ws like madam c ur baby's head don't u feel any tin I said no except pain den dey said ok if d pain comes push wit it after 3 pushes I started screaming I'm tired n a nurse said don't say dat word again make only positive confession here den after d 4th push n a tear my prince came out wit poop all over his body at exactly 1pm on Tuesday n I slept off immediately after d stitch ws later woken up, madam wake up o here no be bed o, all dis one wen u dey na formality nxt year we go still c u 4 here, lol.

Note: if nt 4 my mum I wud av requested 4 cs as d pain ws becoming unbearable n out of dis world although my mum ws later sent out as d fear in her eyes ws becoming noticeable.

To God be the glory, my bouncing babyboy arrived thursday around 11:50pm via CS due to prolong labor. So cute that I couldn't sleep cuz I kept looking at him until he was taken to children's ward due to regurgitation and some other little things.

Can't stand on my own yet, can't walk yet also, is it me or its normal cuz? d pain is something else. I just can't wait to go and see him at d ward.

My edd was on d 14th but no show.the next day arund 4 i started feeling stronger contractions.by d tym i got to d Hospital i was 4cm.
Then d real pain started.it wasnt funny at alll.i started praying nd i told God dat my baby should come by 12,cos i had already tapped into our class captain Bs.
By 10 i was 6cm.before 11 7cm.jeez d pain was sometin else.

Due date was on 9th Oct. On 10th, I had very light contraction (less Dan serious menstrual cramp) wch disappeared after abt an hour, on 12th morning, had same contraction early morning and it disappeared afterwards. I had doc appointment dat morning, I carried my small baby bag and car seat in d car to d doc office, I was ready to tell d doc to induce me ( me wey dey fear induction like say, even dou liver dey cut me). Doc said she can't induce me same day dat we Hv to book for d induction since it's not an emergency and ders likely won't be space in d hosp asap. Fast forward to when doc checked me, and was surprised to see I was already 4cm even wtout contractions. I told her my babies usually come very fast and I can't go home and be back later, she did membrane sweep and I left for d hosp. Got to d hosp & waited for some tym(walked abt) before I was admitted. All these while, I no see show, no membrane rupture. I was checked and was 6cm, my water broke while she was checking me, den d semi serious contraction started. At 8cm the serious contraction started, baby's heart beat was monitored non stop and she was doing fine. The nurse called my doc to come for the main thing dt i was 10cm(see hope), all these while, no be me dey der again na so I dey shout "JESUS I depend on you I have no power of my own " . I was shouting dat she shud call d doc bk dat I was ready to push. The doc still dey road but was close. Doc arrived,checked me $ said I was still 8cm( wat nonsense, my hope just dropped) she said smt lyk d cervix is still round. I was in serious pain and iasked if I cud push,after some tym I was asked to push wt d next contractn, I gave dem d poo and pee of life , dat kind of long piss ur baby boy will pee into ur face wen u wnt to change his diaper, everyone ran for cover. The doc said dey shud adminster oxytocin to fasten it, dt d contractn doesn't even last long when it comes, na em I begin rake " I don't want oxytocin(100tyms), I can progress on my own cos d pain am having rit now is d highest I can bear, see shouting ooo " I don't want oxytocin ". Thank GOD here if u decline anything, dey can't force it on you esp if it's not life threatening. If contractn comes I go hold d nurse hand dey do breathing in and out technique (omg dat thing dey work smh). After some mins, I started shouting again " I want to push ooo" dey no kuku ansa me, na em I carry my two laps up begin push, when dey saw I meant biz, dey rushed me and wt dat one continous push my baby was coming out, d doc brot scissors abi na wetin dem dey call am, I tot she wanted to tear me, I started shouting no no no . And d doc was like no for wat lol. She cut d cord and baby was out. No tear or cut. All glory to GOD

I said it.....mamas in d house, make una throw me a grand welcome party o, I just got my BFP....i had a miscarriage in march, my preggy buddie deezou has put to bed, I pray we all carry to full term (amen)

the labour ish started after dh n i had a nyc rigorous kpekus very early in the morning on sept 29th,i noticed i was leaking whitish/colourless fluid few hours later(ard 12pm) told mil n dh,we went to d private hospital i was using(bin plannibg on using the teaching hospital for my delivery cus of my history),i was checked n i was 2cm dilated already but my membrane was intact(guess i was leaking d kpekus fluid ),as i wasnt feeling anything i went bk with dh to d hoapital in the evening n i was still 2cm n in passive labour stage already...we decided to leave everything till the next morning(went home,had a very hot bath n slept ).
The next morning as i woke up to pee,i saw brown cataarrh n since it wasnt as i read i decided to chill before heading to d teaching hosp, so dh n i walked for an hour n 30minutes and when we got home i dint know where dis energy came from,i did all the chores i cud lay my hands on(even washed dhs car),fastforward to few hours later,mil,sil,dh n i (ftm tins)headed to the hospital n i was 4cm dialated but not fully effaced so i was told to ambulate before i could b admitted(i wasnt feeling anything pain still )
That was when i started d exercises, i walked,ran,clinbed steps,squatted,bathd with hot water like countless times and danced,then the contactions started coming but very irregular n painful but very bearable. Fastforward to 8pm,i went bk to d labour ward with sil(she was on call that night),i was checked and admitted..as i got to the ward,i saw different women who were battling with their ish already,some were speaking in tongues,some were shouting wayooo Allah,lailaha illallahu, summa sebila yansarau,jesu jesu,one even wenz to hajj n back n was shouting labaeka lahumo labaek!Allah!..i was rily scared asswear,i jejely left the ward i was in n started walking ardnyt with my sil,my contractions were 3/5mins aprt as at 10/11pm that same nyt,ard 12pm i startrd having this very painfullllll contractions,very painful somthing,i kukuma left my bed n sat on d floor,,so when d contractiona comes,all i did was hold the bed tightly which helped for a while,d midwives were shouting madam stand up n lie on ur bed or we ll give the bed to somone else,aja lo n gbo nii mii o tii e daun.
D doc on call came n i was examined(6cm already n membrane was still intact),she cald d nurses to bring stfs to rupture d membrane n when i saw the sharp scissors-like thing i screamed n told her to lemme rupture it mysef that i cud do,she laughed n told the nurses to hold my legs n d membrane was ruptured...that was when the real pain started,i started rolling on the bed,panting and sweating like crazy,all the prayers i intended on doing when d real ish strted was forgotten,fastforward to 2am/3am on oct 1,d dr on call told d nurses to give me oxytocin, as i heard d word coupled with everything av read here i shouted that i no want oo,that i want cs ooo,or give me epidurall or promethazine ooo,i dont want to die ooo,this pain is getting too much o,i dont want any hot drip oo,d dr was just laffing n i sure gave her my baddest evil eye,as d nurses came to pass the drip i startrd shaking my hands n screaming as d contractions kept coming,dint even know whem d drip was given, all i felt was dis unexplainable pajn coming in wavessssssss,God i swear i was in heaven,d pain was somting else,i was just screaming n forcing mysef to poo without the urge,as i couldnt contain d pain animore,i stylishly removed d niddle on my hand n d pain reduced,when d dr saw that i wasn't scteaming animore,she shouted madam dont kill your baby far,d head is already in ur pelvis n e ma koba mifaa,abii iru ishe wo ni eleyii gan n told the nurses to pass the drip again,that was when i started begging the nurses....plssss maaa give me five mints to get mysef,pleaseeee two minutes to get mysef,pleasee that dripp is killing me slowly n i was shaking my hands as well,
The pain started coming again after the drip ws strtd again n i started screamingggggg(i had sore throat for days after d delivery) and pushing as well,d dr told me that i wasnt pushing dah i was breathing cus she cudnt c my babys head n that i should hold my legs n pushhhhh,i pushed n pushed nothing aond then i started crying n shoutingg that am not coming here again oooo till 4years timeee,haaaa moroogoooo oooo,even begged the dr to use vacuum to bring the baby out n she snapped n said am not gonna be d one to tell her wat to do n i shoud shut up n push,my sil was my guidian angel dah night,she was dere all tru,tryna calm me down thou i dint notice her o...enof ranting
After like 4pushes n an episiotomy,my baby girl came forth with her tiny faint cry as my poo n wee don her throat cus i gave those nurses the poo of my life, ,my lo was suctioned n gvn oxygen,dressed n placd under light,placenta came out few seconds later after an inj waa given to me on my hip
The devil later came in form of the house dr that stitched me as he forgot to stitch some. Parts n .started passing heavy heavy cloth,faintd but was resustctd...then i was re stitched by the dr on call lyk 10mins later after d firtst one,i almst died of pain..but when i saw my princess i swear the whole experience was worth it n i d do it all over again

Pple wt just one previous scar(from cs or myomectomy) re allowed to try vag delivery if there aren't any oda complications. Moreover d 10yrs interval is an advantage cos ur womb has had tym to heal so there s almost no risk of rupture.

@Trendy80s....glad u n LO are doing very well. God's grace is upon u dear. @ mumihaja...... Wat u just said as regards losing weight no b lie at all. I curbed out surgery things, I also eat less with lots f fruits. I don't even eat breakfast until 10am, even wen I eventually have it, I don't get to finish the little I have. And I also skip in d morning bfor work n wen I return in d evening. So the best way to cut down on weight is to b disciplined about it. Tho not easy cuz I get to miss out on those sweet tyns I love eating before . Actual weight=100kg. Current weight=93kg. My target is to hit 85kg. God being my helper, I wil get dre . @all d newbies...,welcome.@al d preggy mamas, hafsat24, tatacherie, fruitfulwife and those I didn't mention, hope u guys r glowing? @all waiting to announce BFP, we r closer than we think. it will end in praise. He's just trying to calm you. If you're sure his sfa is good, then go see your doc for hsg and possibly clomid. But one thing to remember is that if his sfa is not ok, you'll be
wasting your time taking clomid. Are you looking at ot thinking of what people will say? Are they God or has anyone of them ever created a baby? As for me, to hell with people. I want to be a mother that's why I'm doing all these and hoping on God, the Giver of children.
