It doesn't work like that sir. I lost my AATM I blocked it from my app. The next day I saw the ATM I tested it is not working again till I use my phone to unblock the card again.

We are talking about online transactions

Once they told you , your card is blocked

Head over and try initiate a transaction with the same card details online and see

The first 25k was on 15th September...when the customer care informed me it has bn blocked, I was on keeping 2k, 5k in the account and I didn't go for another card untill Friday, when I received about 150k into the account towards evening and I bought 40k fuel from the money....by the time I got home, I started receiving debit alerts from KC Gaming Network....and I immediately called customer care

What the customer care agent did at first is put a limit on the card for 24hrs
Not blocking it and my advise here is stop using them for as long as you can
Until you are 💯 sure it's fixed

I understand your point but if you read what I typed above, you'd understand I'm not completely dadt enough to still keep money in the account after the first 25k
I said I called customer care and she confirmed the card has bn blocked.... i myself also changed the web login details even before I called the customer care to block the card.
It was her confirmation that gave me confidence to continue to leave money in the account
On Friday, when I saw the fraudulent transactions again, I immediately called GT agent to complain...she then said the card was not blocked before and that she would then go ahead to block it if a request so...and I asked her to goo ahead.

Let me tell you the honest truth

If a card is blocked it takes almost 6 month for Visa or MasterCard to completely removed it from there portal and changing the web login details won't solved a thing

As payment are process using card details not your banking details

Never ever believe any word that says your account is blocked or card is blocked from a customer service of a bank

It's a pure lie and if you don't believe me

Try using that same card details on a different website and see if the payment won't go through.


So in that instance what you suppose to have done is move your money from the account and leave it. And
After some weeks , get a new card and start keeping small funds to confirm everything is good before you keep large funds and e disappear overnight.

Sorry for your lost.

I later called my Bank to block the card and the customer care agent said she has blocked it, only for me to start seeing alerts again since Friday...now, they have taken a total of 145,000 Naira
