The blame should rest squarely on Waec and Neco. They took long in releasing last year's exam results.

That said, isnt there a way for universities to work with the estimated release date of the waec in their post Utme screening?

I totally agree with you. WAEC and NECO should be blamed for this.
And for the question, sadly, there hasn't been any effective way.

Before anyone make any bad assertation about the educational system(even though we all know it is not something to write home about), please read the whole story again and again. Apparently, it wasn't the system that was at fault but him( his daughter), they weren't able to upload the REQUIRED subject(mathematics) before the portal was closed.

Sorry to say, our educational system is not a respecter of intelligence or scores, it is made for those with adequate information.

These counties allow citizens use the internet. Some only limit the usage or censor it.

Example is China. Their wide numbers use internet at will for their businesses and others but only restrict the use of some social sites like Facebook ... They allow their own social platform like WeChat to be used instead.
