At least you finally learn to mind your business and face your front. Again, no be everyone be your mate. If you wan try, you can bring it on. Everyone is here to do biz or cash cruise not to flaunt wealth. Don’t just talk because you have access to a keypad. samsard: |
Yen yen yen yen. I have bought more than you earned in the last year? It is not affordable by your shitty business, fine and understandable. Just learn to keep quiet and mind your biz. Face front abeg. And to clarify your folly, it is not everyone that comes here to blow their trumpet. Telling me you bought more PayPal than I earned in the last year (laughable). Do you think I am one kind freelancer depending on PayPal earning (no disrespect folks). You are still hustling in Computer village with one Laptop per month sales all your life depends on. Guy don’t go there. No be everyone be your mate. samsard: |
A silent fool will pass as a wise man, but the moment he/she speaks, the folly is evident. Must you comment?! You can’t afford it, then shift and keep shut. samsard: |

Hi writers, this job post is directly from Lanre Writer Admin. We are at an early stage of a contract negotiation with a client that wants to start an online news medium. The client will need at least 30 articles per day from business and sports news. So, we are thinking of about 10 writers so that when there is any disappointment from a writer, there will be enough hands to cover up. The basic requirement for this job is simple. You are not expected to go on field to source news content, you can always write such if you have the leak (no problem). But, majorly, you will be working from the comfort of your home. Source the news from a reputable medium that will be provided and rewrite such that it will be unique and from a different angle compared to the main source. You need to have a knowledge of news writing to be able to do this. So, yes, news writing skill is mandatory. To apply, include in your proposal: 1. Your full name 2. Social Media ID. The above are requirements by the client as your authenticity will need to be verified. Your byline will be published along with the articles you submit. NOTE: This is not a done deal yet. We are still in the discussion stage with the client. And we hope it clicks so that everybody can smile to the bank as we perform magic with our pen. New Jersey court has sentenced a gangbanger to life imprisonment for killing a Nigerian man who was urinating in his street. The NJ blood member, Christopher Poole, 26, according to NJ.com report murdered the Nigerian photographer Rasheed “O.J.” Olabode, 27, after catching him relieving himself behind a car in Newark in April 2018. Surveillance video showed Olabode praying to be spared — but Poole “executed” him anyway, prosecutors said. “The only mistake that appears the victim made was going to relieve himself in front of the wrong person,” prosecutor Jason Goldberg told Superior Court of Essex County, NJ.com said. “And that simple, simple act — something that every single person does, every single day — was enough in the eyes of Mr. Poole to execute a man, shoot him in the heart as he prayed and tried talking his way out of it.” Poole — who has a tattoo on his throat of a hand giving the middle finger — has a lengthy rap sheet starting from when he was just 15, the site says. Superior Court Judge Ronald Wigler noted his “utter lack of remorse” for the execution in front of two of the victim’s friends. “This was certainly one of the most — if not the most — senseless murder cases that I have presided over and been involved with,” said Wigler, who has served as a Superior Court judge for a decade, NJ.com said. Poole was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder, the site said. He was also given 10 years for one weapons offense that will run concurrently. He must serve at least 63 years before he is eligible for parole under the state’s No Early Release Act, according to the report. Olabode was originally from Nigeria. His family could not afford to make it to New Jersey for the sentencing, the court heard. http://lanrenews.com/new-jersey-gang-member-kills-nigerian-man-for-urinating-in-his-street/

The National Bureau of Statistics, unlike previous years, has failed to release the data for the unemployment rate in Nigeria. Unemployment statistics, as discovered on the board’s e-library is a stats documented quarterly. The unemployment statistics were released in four quarters between 2015 and 2017 and in three quarters in 2018 after which it was abruptly stopped. No record throughout the year 2019, while other statistics released by NBS did not stop. An analysis of the released statistics between 2016 and 2018 revealed a successive increase. Whether the Bureau is scared of releasing an escalated figure or covering up something else, remains unknown. President Muhammadu Buhari at a campaign rally in Kano and other places promised to create three million jobs yearly to solve the problem of unemployment. This was prior to his first term in office. The vice president, Prof Yemi Osibanjo, at a campaign rally in Akure, also pledged 20,000 jobs yearly totalling 720,000. Lanre News contacted the NBS Statistical Information Officer, Moses Mathew via the email provided on the Bureau’s website to enquire the reason the unemployment statistics were not released, but no response till the time of filing this report; and that has been six days ago. Oxfam report published on Monday revealed that 22 richest men in the world are richer than all African women combined. The organisation (Oxfam) also concluded that 2,153 billionaires on the Forbes list have more wealth than 60 per cent (4.6 billion people) of the global population. The large disparity between the world’s population is considered “out of control” by Oxfam. The cause, according to the report was a flawed and sexist economic system that values the wealth of the privileged few, mostly men, more than the billions of hours of the most essential work – the unpaid and underpaid care work done primarily by women and girls around the world. “The 22 richest men in the world have more wealth than all the women in Africa. “Women and girls put in 12.5 billion hours of unpaid care work each and every day —a contribution to the global economy of at least $10.8 trillion a year, more than three times the size of the global tech industry.” If the world’s richest can pay just 0.5 per cent extra tax on their wealth over the next 10 years, acccording to Oxfam, the accrued amount will be enough to create investments that will provide jobs for 117 million in sectors such as elderly and childcare education and health. “The gap between rich and poor can’t be resolved without deliberate inequality-busting policies, and too few governments are committed to these.” Source: http://lanrenews.com/worlds-22-richest-men-richer-than-all-women-in-africa/

Google’s 2019 September Core Update was like a rock that hit most websites especially those with low valued contents. The same update catapulted some websites traffic up the search return ladder; likewise the November Core Update, only that the effect was not felt much unlike the September’s update. Before the mid of the first month of the year, 2020, Google did not disappoint in wishing website owners a Happy New Year with yet another algorithm changes called Janaury Core Update 2020. Google announced the core update via its Twitter account @SearchLiaison. “The January 2020 Core Update is now live and will be rolling out to our various data centers over the coming days.” The Update took effect since January 13, 2020. In case your site was hit by this new update, there is no specific action highlighted by Google to rectify the hit. Most of the time, it doesn’t signals you have done anything wrong. We witnessed a company that was hit by the September 2020 Core Update and never recovered or appeared in the Top Story carousel of Google until the launch of the January 2020 Core Update. Just continue doing your best working on the suggestions offered in the Google Community. For people wondering what Google update means or how it works, Core Updates determine your site’s performance in search results. Like the company we cited above, they did nothing wrong, except that the update does not favour them. Luckily for them, they are back in the search result and not just that, they are now appearing in both Top Stories carousel and frequently in the Google News suggestions on Chrome. Keeping tab of Google Updates let you know if your site performance is a result of what you did wrong on your site, probably a plugin slowing the load speed or it is that you have just been hit by a Google new update. Trivalence:PayPal refunded the money and I was able to sell to a legit exchanger on Nairaland @dipsonkky. Thanks to everyone on Nairaland and also to @dipsonkky that proves there are still legitimate xchangers here. |
Nairalanders, the fraudster behind this WhatsApp number, 07080032673 must indeed be a serial scammer and fool as described by other monikers. After defrauding me of $47, and I requested a refund on PayPal, this scammer went ahead to escalate the claim instead of refunding me the money he was trying to defraud me of. He thinks PayPal is a place for thieves and petty Yahoo Boys. (see screenshot) If he still has access to Nairaland with his fraudulent moniker(s), just know u've made the case worse for yourself. As warned by others, stay away from this user and his PayPal fraudulent email addresses: arriyasoliman@gmail.com and faseehaaldib@gmail.com

Nairalanders, I posted earlier I was just scammed by a guy after sending him fund on PayPal. I have requested a refund anyway and thanks to @funlord for the call and reminder of always using an escrow. To deal with these fools more, I have been guaranteed a published article on the website of a leading Newspaper in Nigeria (name withheld for now, the link will be shared after publication and you will be surprised). Anybody that has been scammed or know someone that has been scammed with verifiable evidence should send their story to my email: puissant.pen@gmail.com I will be compiling these stories to write a feature article on this issue. The acct details, names and phone numbers of this fraudsters will be published along with the article. It is high time we teach these people a lesson. A time will come that a simple search of their name during a job interview *will pop-up the account of how dubious they could be*. This needs to stop! Format of story submission: *Your full name, *details of transaction, *moniker (for me to confirm if you are genuine), *phone number *and chat screenshot that proves beyond doubt you were indeed defrauded. *A brief recap of the incident in your own words. |
slimanyd:The fool just chatted me. If he did not refund will *escalate it on PayPal*. He will not end well with this. If e like himself, should just do the refund ASAP.

I decided to sell to another person but he contacted again he has gotten a business PayPal email and shud be able to transact nw. I did sent and it delivered this time around only for him. To be begging he is at work and will pay me before 24hrs. He had blocked me. He is a thief! Screenshot of his PayPal fraud account attached and chat attached. He has blocked me. By Chima Osuji Operators of the minibus campus shuttle popularly called “korope” at the University of Ilorin have refused to convey Unilorin students to the school campus over the alleged refusal of the Student Union to endorse their proposed hike in transport fare. Based on this, the transporters are currently on a peaceful protest in what seems to be a calculated attempt to prevail on the Union executives to yield to their demand. Lanre News can confirm this development as the buses of the protesting drivers were parked at their designated terminus in the Tanke area of Ilorin, with many students stranded and bound on a collision course in a free-for-all rush at any available cab willing to convey them to school. In a chat with one of the protesting drivers who pleaded anonymity, he vehemently stated that neither he nor his colleagues would convey any student to and from campus unless the Student Union accede to their demand by signing the agreement on the proposed increment. However, one of the operators was ignorant of the development. He claimed he was not informed by their transport Union of the said protest, neither was he giving the benefit of hindsight on the move. In his word,”I have not been to Terminus this morning, my turning point has been Okeodo, therefore I am not aware of that. All other buses are at Terminus but then I’ve noticed that there are few buses entering school. He concluded that maybe they just came up with it this morning.” A student, Omo-Akin in reaction to the protest said: “Student reaction to this isn’t funny. Nobody wants to pay 70naira “We will be forced to... Full Story: http://lanrenews.com/unilorin-transporters-embark-on-peaceful-protest-decry-student-union-failure-to-endorse-transport-fare-increment/

The Nigerian government is said to be seeking the arrest, via Interpol, of two directors from Process and Industrial Developments (P&ID), an Irish company with which it is locked in a legal battle. Nigeria is seeking to issue a Red Notice for Brendan Cahill and Adam Quinn. The two men are linked to P&ID, which in mid-August, won a court ruling in England ordering Nigeria to pay $9.6 billion in compensation for a gas scheme that went awry, according to the report. A statement from P&ID said the plan from Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to issue a Red Notice was a “desperate and pathetic effort” to prevent the enforcement of the arbitration award. The statement continued, “The Nigerian government’s allegations have been consistently rejected in court: as a result, they are resorting to threats, bullying and legal nihilism. The application to Interpol is just more of the same: the use of ... Full Story: http://lanrenews.com/pid-nigeria-allegedly-seeking-arrest-of-2-directors-via-interpol-%E2%80%95-report/

“We are very angry,” said Ahmadou Amadou, a Republic of the Niger trader who imports motorbikes for a living said. “The business sector is wasting away.” If the border closure continues, then we will be ruined, he added. The last time this happened, back in the 1980s — and it lasted two years. And it was the same president, Muhammadu Buhari, who was responsible. Buhari closed the borders shortly after he came to power. From April 1984 to February 1986 he kept them closed in response to the falling price of oil, a drop in exports and the smuggling of contraband. In fact the border was only reopened after Buhari was toppled in a coup. The recent closure of the borders by the Nigeria federal government is to curb smuggling activities from neighbouring countries. Amadou Oumarou, another Maradi, Niger resident, said Niger government should sit down at the table with Nigeria and negotiate a solution. Falling prices are hitting locally made products due to a lack of buyers in Nigeria, while the price of products imported from Nigeria is soaring, he said. Some traders are selling their rice cut-price just to get rid of their stock, said Chaibou Tchombiano, general secretary of Niger’s union representing traders, importers and exporters. “We used to sell a 100-kilo (220-pound) sack of cowpeas for 18,500 CFA francs ($30, 27 euros). The price has fallen to 17,000, even 16,000 francs, since the border was closed,” said cereal trader Haruna Moussa. The impact of the closure is having a ripple effect reaching as far as the capital Niamey, 650 km away. Nigeria Custom has vowed the border will remain closed until all neighbouring borders do something about the smuggling incidences from their country. “Nothing crosses into Nigeria and nothing comes out. It’s hermetically sealed,” said Amadou Idi, sitting in a makeshift shelter to keep out of the rain, and reflecting on the downturn in his luck. “We twiddle our thumbs and pray.” Idi’s job is a transiting agent — to get goods across the border to Nigeria at the Dan Issa frontier post in southeastern Niger. But he has been out of work since Nigeria dramatically closed its borders with its neighbours on August 20, declaring it wanted to put an end to chronic smuggling, according to AFP report. Niger, which shares a 1,500-kilometre (900-mile) border with Nigeria, has been badly hit by the closure, along with Benin. Both nations are among the poorest in the world. A long line of lorries from Niger and elsewhere in West Africa is stranded at Dan Issa. Some are full, some laden with goods. The drivers and their assistants sleep on the ground or in the cabins of their vehicles. The Wikipedia page of the Nigeria’s first Lady, Aisha Buhari has been edited by unknown person(s) to read that the 2011 Presidential Election won by Muhammadu Buhari was rigged. The edited paragraph read; "wife of the current President Muhammadu Buhari, who assumed office on 29 May 2015 after defeating the then-incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in a rigged election." Prior to the present edit, the Wikipedia page of the First Lady has on Sunday included “Her husband is a thief and a murderer“.
