Less than three weeks after the defection of Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state to opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his name sake, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu-Tambuwal has led no fewer than 10,000 people to dump the party. Shehu-Tambuwal, who was a former PDP Chairman in the state led the 10,000 supporters to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Tambuwal Local Government Area of the state.
