Pretty strange!! Probably because you emphasized on your work.

I only stressed how important the course is to me and no mention about work at all. ECOs and different ways of handling applications shaa.

Did anyone else submit letter from employer? As far as I've read on the guidance, it's not meant to be part of the supporting docs

mzsI:

Apparently i was supposed to and i didnt so they refused me

@Creamyworkz .. Hope you can hear me grin

I was looking back the forum and realised after your admin review was overturned, it took about 10 days from the day you submitted your passport to the day you collected it. Does it take this long again? Am I correct with the timeline? Reason why i ask is to be able to plan and book my flight so i can go for a decently cheap flight wink

@Justwise .. review took 17 days smiley .. Thanks and more grease to your elbow oo wink

Thanks mate smiley

Decided to go for Admin Review. I no wan dash them money again I beg grin. It sucks when you think HO actually has an updated record and brings out another.

Do you know if they stick within the 28 days?

justwise:

Only you can make that decision because you know the full details of the case. Which ever one you go for you have to be absolutely sure that the ECO made a mistake else it's going to be the same outcome.

No visa was cancelled lol.

Yea .. Tier 2 and yes working.

As Bourne said, Section 3C extended my leave till I withdrew and left the UK to apply for a Tier 4 which technically meant I didn't overstay. For some reason, the HO records show otherwise while the papers from the HO shows another. My question still remains if I should reapply or go for admin review.

Has anyone gone for Admin Review and got a reply within the 28 days?

worry359:

It seems that when you applied for PLR. your existing visa was cancelled and you became illegal.
They have decided that you no longer qualified for the existing visa.

You say Tier 2, were you working in the UK?

I do know this but my dilemma is if to re-apply or go for Admin review as there was no mention of my appeal in the refusal.

@Justwise .. Admin Review or Re-apply smiley. Many thanks

Previously on Tier 2, Application was for FLR due to medical reasons but was refused which I appealed.
worry359:

What was the application for?
New visa?
Visa extension?

Bourne007:
From the sounds of it, your leave would have extended (Section 3C) until the appeal is no longer pending (in this case you withdrew). If you have proof, apply for an Admin review.

I submitted an in-time application which was refused. I had the right to appeal which I did and left the country to apply for a tier 4. So yes I had a valid visa.

justwise:

Were you still holding a valid visa while the waiting for the appeal? Or you appealed after your visa has expired?

Thanks for your quick response smiley

Well, I had an appeal which I withdrew and left the country within 10 days to make a new application. How there records weren't updated, I have no idea. Should I still go for Admin Review?

Anyone with Admin review experience will be much appreciated smiley

justwise:

Did you leave the UK before your visa expires? If yes and you can prove it then go for AR immediately.

Attach your return ticket they can easily contact the airline to verify that. Entry stamp at any Nigerian airport may not be taken seriously.

Hello all,

Kudos to everyone of this forum as it's been really helpful. I have been a guest all along but decided to join today and seek opinions.

I was refused a tier 4 which is down to the ECO's mistake. He said I overstayed undecided which is completely false. My dilemma is should I reapply or put in an Admin Review.

I know they say it takes 28 calendar days but could also be longer and my fear is not to be able to meet up with the latest start date. Has anyone gone through an Admin Review before?
