PoliticsRe: 'Kwara Is Fully PDP' - Bukola Saraki Says As He Storms Kwara State by trustech25(m): 8:04pm On Dec 24, 2018
*Deflections, Defections and Political Own Goal*

By Tiamiyu Olorunisola

Hon. Abdulraheem Adewuyi Ajulo-Opin of the APC flagged-off his re-election campaign in his hometown, Omu-Aran yesterday, 21st December, 2018. The activities of the exercise is unprecedented in the political history of Kwara State. It was a wave of defections from the Saraki's political dynasty to the mainstream political caucus of Kwara State. This is a further attack on the ego of the self acclaimed leader of Kwara politics. Ajulo-Opin had earlier punctured and deflated the political balloon of the Sarakites by winning the re-run election of Irepodun/Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin Federal House of Representatives constituency last month.

It has been uneasy in the camp of Bukola Saraki since that re-run election. The outcome of that election is a clear pointer that the power has since returned to the people on the street. He should have listened to the voices of the people earlier enough with the similar outcome of the Local Government election conducted a year ago rather than using Ajidagba to suppress the decision of the people.

Bukola Saraki, the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be remembered in our political space as a political intelligensia who knows how to achieve power but lack the wisdom to maintain power. The problem of Bukola Saraki is arrogance and pride compounded with his problems of building a wall of sycophants around himself rather than sourcing for good advisers. Those who are bold and intelligent to advise him had left his camp. He is left alone to make wrong decisions upon wrong decisions and the outcome of that is the deflections, defections and political own goal in the last minute of the crucial match.

Saraki's problem started from the minute he aligned with some disgruntled personalities within the PDP to fight and dislodge Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for personal and selfish reasons. I don't see failure or success as sharp occurrence but an accumulation of good moves or mistakes. The jumping of ship from PDP to team up with Asiwaju's APC is like the marriage of fish and rat.The fish and rat may agree to have a wedding programme but to meet in a common ground for the ceremony will be the main task. The fish doesn't live on the land neither the rat in water and that's where all the cookies will crumble.

When Saraki and the rest of his nPDP guys were dancing around the country in political garb of APC little did they know that they have deflected from the ideals of the party that has given them so much to be happy for and they are fast approaching the terminus of their political career. They were gullibly unaware that APC will not accept the indiscipline of PDP. This is one of the greatest political blunder after the death of his father.

Hijacking the Senate Presidency seat from the progressives and against the wish of the national party leadership will be remembered as the greatest political attack against his own political destiny and his subsequent defections with his gullible followers of rAPC will also be remembered as own goal against himself at the last minute of the crucial game. Fighting with Federal is a political suicide; the fact that you made it against Jonathan doesn't mean you are greater than the entire system.

He will lose Kwara State and will not return back to the Senate. He will pay strongly for all his miscalculations, arrogance and for taking Kwarans for a fool. He will have to learn that power politics is far greater than attaining the power alone but also maintaining and balancing power. He will learn how to choose advisers and not sycophants.

The PDP camp will be deflated more before and during the 2019 general elections. There will more defections into APC and there's no amount of intimidation and political deception that will make the masses support the PDP in Kwara. For PDP in Kwara, It's good night and Bye-Bye to Saraki.

Sacked Ishola Balogun Fulani - led Kwara Executives (Saraki’s agents) Remain Expelled -APC

We wish to restate the National Working Committee (NWC) decision to expel the erstwhile Ishola Balogun Fulani-led All Progressives Congress (APC) Executive in Kwara State.

This is in view of widespread misinterpretations given to a judgement of an Ilorin High Court on Wednesday.

The decision to expel Ishola Balogun Fulani and others is well within the powers of the NWC which investigated and deliberated on the anti-party activities of the sacked state executive.

Meanwhile, it is important to note that direct primaries were used to elect party candidates for Kwara State, hence State executives had no role to play in the primaries. Only candidates that emerged from the direct primary exercise conducted by the NWC inaugurated committee was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). These candidates remain the authentic flagbearers of APC.

We therefore urge the good people of Kwara State and indeed the APC members to remain unrelenting in our collective and irreversible movement towards total liberation of the state. The "o to ge" train is on course and has full endorsement of the National Working Committee of the party.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Yoruba Muslims Don’t Need Fridays As Public Holidays, Says Group by trustech25(m): 8:19pm On Sep 10, 2016
The group does not even exist. Who has ever heard of a Muslim group within the OPC?

This write up from OPC is a clear attempt to cause disunity between Muslims, But Allaah (SWA) will make whatever their objectives are to be defeated.

It is not only embrassing but disturbing to see a so-called Muslims group carrying out non believers agenda .
Christianity EtcThe Last 10 Days Of Ramadhan by trustech25(op): 3:50pm On Jul 08, 2015
In this blessed month of Ramadhan, we have now come to the grand finale – the last ten days of Ramadhan that are regarded as the “cream” of Ramadhan. In it is a night that Qur’an tells us is better than 1000 months (yes, months…not days!)

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“There has come to you Ramadaan, a blessed month which Allaah has enjoined you to fast, during which the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained up. In it there is a night which is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.” (Hadith Narrated by An-Nasaa’i, 2106; Ahmad, Sahih At-Targheeb, 999.)

So, in preparation for the grand finale, here is a checklist of some of the things that we can all do to make the remaining days of Ramadaan work to our advantage:

1) Get in High Gear for the Next few Nights and Days

Time is of the essence. Every moment counts. Whatever you need to do for the next ten days to make the most in `Ibadah, good deeds, reciting Qur’an, dhikr, making du`aa’, etc., rewards are going to be multiplied. No one knew about the importance of these days more than the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would strive hard in worship during the last ten nights of Ramadaan as he did not do at other times. (Hadith Muslim)

If we lose this opportunity, we have to wait another year, assuming we are still around and are in good health and shape to make use of it. Even if we are, we have the past years’ sins onour shoulders and life’s normal trials and tribulations to face the coming year. So, there is no better time to ask Allah to make all that easier than NOW.

2) Get a Copy of the Qur’an and Recite as Often as You Can

Not enough can be mentioned on the benefits and virtues of Qur’an. It is proven in the authentic Sunnah that the Qur’an will intercede for those who read it at night, as Ahmad (6626) narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for a person on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say, ‘O Lord, I deprived him of his food and his desires during the day, so let me intercede for him.’ And the Qur’an will say: ‘I deprived him of his sleep at night so let me intercede for him.’ Then they will intercede.” (Narrated by Ahmad; classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami`, No. 3882.)

As is stated in the hadith in which the The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:”Whosoever reads a letter from the Book of Allaah will receive a Hasanah (good deed) from it (i.e. his recitation), and the Hasanah (good deed) is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-laam-meem is (considered as) a letter (in reward), rather Alif is one letter, laam is one letter, and meem is one letter.” (Reported by At-Tirmidhi, Ad-Darami)

The Messenger of Allaah (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said:”The best of you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it.” (Hadith Reported by Al-Bukhari)

3) Get your Sins Forgiven

First the bad news –In Musnad Ahmad it is narrated that Thawbaan said: TheMessenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upohim) said:

“A man is deprived of provision (Rizq) because 3of the sins that he commits.” (Narrated by Ibn Majah, 4022, ).

And now for the good news –

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Whoever spends the night of Laylat al-Qadr in Prayer out of faith and in the hope of rewardi, will be forgiven his previous sins.”

4) What to Say on Laylat Al-Qadr

One of the best du`aa’s that can be recited on Laylat Al-Qadr is that which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught ‘A’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her). It was narrated by At-Tirmidhi, who classed it as sahih, that ‘A’ishah said: I said: “O Messengerbof Allah, If I know which night is Laylat Al-Qadr,bwhat should I say?” He said:

“Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa`fu ‘anni (O Allaah, You are All-Forgiving and You love forgiveness so forgive me).”

5) Get in the Class of the Pious People

Allaah has described the pious as follows (interpretation of the meaning):

(They used to sleep but little by night (invoking their Lord (Allaah) and praying, with fear and hope). (Adh-Dhariyat 51:17)

(And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allaah) for forgiveness,) (Adh-Dhariyat 51:18)

Allaah’s Messenger(saw) said:” There is in Paradise an Apartment, the exterior of which can be seen from the interior, and the interior of which can be seen from the exterior. Such apartments have been prepared for those who are Polite in their talk, Provide Food to the Needy, Fast frequently and observe the TAHAJJUD PRAYERS when people are sleep.” (Mishkhat Al-Masabih ; Hadith No. 1232)

6) Finally…

Think of all that you need to ask Allaah for and ask Him now. If you haven’t before, this is the time to connect with Him and feel closer to Him. And when you do during these last ten nights and days of this Ramadaan, you would want to do this again and again– even after the month is over.

And finally, when you are in a state of Ibadahb (Prayers and worship), please open your heart for others as well and please do remember your brothers and sisters who are in great difficulty all around the world in your prayers. Remember what The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“The supplication that gets the quickest answer is the one made by one Muslim for another in his absence.”(Hadith-Reported by Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi)

You snooze…you loose! So strive during these last ten days, as if it would be your last chance to do so. A wise man once said…

“ I will pass this way but once so let me do whatever good I can NOW for I may NEVER pass this way again!”

May Allaah Ta’la grants us the wisdom, courage and strength to reap the full benefits of this month…

Ameen.
