For Nigerians coronavirus also known as COVID - 19 is a ‘new’ novel that just came out since Feb. 28 2020 when an Italian man brought it. No one has been able to finish the novel and understand what really that so-called coronavirus also known as COVID – 19 pandemic. The Nigeria Government under Buhari Regime has taking this measures:

1) Fortunately The Nigeria Centre for Disease Controlhas established groups that includes Federal Ministry of Health to meets daily to address any situation concerning the coronavirus also known as COVID - 19 situation and improve Nigeria’s level of preparedness to it. They had also supported 22 states to establish emergency operations centres. They had also equipped 36 states and established teams in them to ready for any outbreak including COVID - 19.

2) In Lagos states, Nigeria they had close markets, ban all social gatherings that is over 20 persons.

3) Also, they had arranged enforcement teams to make arrest to any who did not live by those safety measures. The government has also advised that Nigerian s should give each other a space of about 1 meters.

4) Also Nigeria is closing its main international airports in Lagos and Abuja effect from Monday 23rd, 2020 as the number of the CONVID -19 victims is increasing. Poverty in Nigeria can be liken to shoe found in different sizes. Some Nigerians world survive on a meager diet; some are midway between poverty and affluence, while a host of others live in abject poverty.According to World Bank standards, living in extreme poverty is living on less than $1.90 (N680) per day and so many are living less than that already.According to a recent survey carried out, Around 1.85 billion people of the world's population including Nigeria, lived in extreme poverty why the rest fall under the rich category. According to one reference work, individually, Nigeria has about 7 people going into poverty every minute. Nigeria’s 2018 record budget (which President Buhari stood for 69 minutes to present, this was news for some reason) is running on a deficit, and will be funded by much borrowing with government debts already on the rise.

But Why is Nigeria Set To Become The Poverty Capital of the World By 2025? What really is the cause of poverty? Are there steps to deal with poverty?
