Peter Obi’s greatest political asset has always been his claim to integrity. That is exactly why the Pandora Papers matter.

To be clear, being named in the Pandora Papers is not the same as being convicted of corruption. Offshore structures can be legal. But politics is not only about what is technically legal. It is also about trust, transparency and moral consistency.

So the question is simple: if Peter Obi is the spotless apostle of transparency his supporters advertise, why was his name found in that company?

But surely, curiosity is not a crime.

Integrity is not merely about avoiding conviction. It is about avoiding unnecessary shadows.

For a politician who asks Nigerians to trust him as the clean alternative, Pandora is not a small footnote. It is a contradiction begging for explanation.

Because by that standard, General Muhammadu Buhari would have been close to perfection.

Personal simplicity is not the same thing as presidential competence.

Living modestly does not automatically translate into managing a complex economy.

A man may be personally honest and yet preside over monumental corruption by others.

He may be prudent in his private life and disastrous in public administration.

More importantly, several of your points are arguments from absence. "No conviction" is not proof of exceptional leadership. Lack of scandals is not an economic blueprint.

So I ask again:

Why do these 15 qualities necessarily make Peter Obi the best person to govern 230 million Nigerians?

Can he manage coalitions?

Can he take difficult decisions?

Can he build consensus?

Can he govern a country as complicated as Nigeria?

Because the lesson of Buhari is this:

The "only clean man" does not necessarily produce the cleanest or most competent government.

Character matters.

But competence matters too.

And history teaches that nations are governed by more than reputations.

No non of the characters qualifies him to become a president as long as na Peter Obi, what qualifies a person to become a president is to be a known drug dealer, a criminal milking ordinary people through extravagant and flimsy taxes, a propagandist and election rigger, being totally clueless...
