I have not seen an Igbo politician asking for a free independent Igbo nation, I'm also yet to see a yoruba politician asking for an independent yoruba nation. So what I can deduce it is the poor masses who are victims of bad government that want the country to be divided with the hope that their condition will improve or at least change from what it's now.

Likewise the Hausa/Fulani poor masses are indifferent of whether Nigeria remain United or it's divided. So obviously only the politicians or are the beneficiaries of bad governance that want a united Nigeria. Not just the northerners as people think.
