As if Lagos is the only state in Nigeria. Anambra did it, we didn't hear anything but hell broke loose when Lagos did. Abia did, Kano is doing it now, so I'm waiting to see what he will do when Ambode does same Luukasz: |
This is not about emotion but facts. Going by your logic, Gani Adams will start calling himself an Oba. Ooni is ABORE (high priest) the spiritual leader. The former Ooni was nothing to write home about and if didn't know this, then you are not alive. Awujale and Alafin refused Abacha's money, just ask your elders. Femolacaster: |
I didnt get your message Can you break this down to kindergarten level? SoldierBoy1: |
Escalate to what exactly? They don't want you in their land, and that shouldn't be any problem. All the well established people I know in Kano and Kaduna have moved back to SW because of violence, so any southerners still living in the north deserves what they get, because they love money more than their lives. Taku555: |
Exactly, you are so smart! What they are trying to do is make it sound as if they hire southerners, when they actually dominate all federal jobs. We all know that they are too tribalistic to hire from other ethnic groups. And two can play the game, so It's actually a gift for Yoruba because now, we have to make jobs available for returning Yoruba out of vacancies left behind by Hausa and fulani who will be going back to take up their own jobs in Kano. Yoruba youths, this is your opportunity to have your jobs back from Hausa and fulani. Badoo and other cult groups should make themselves useful for SW. Grupo: |
I hope Lagos will quickly add this too to the other bill to start with. If Abia and Kano can do it, Lagos too can and then the rest of SW. It's actually a good thing, we all should be in control of our jobs. All Yoruba leaving Kano have more than enough jobs at the custom alone, not to talk of the immigration. This is a great opportunity and Yoruba leaders must jump at it with both hands. |
Anyone with good knowledge of history knows this to be the truth. Ooni should normally prostrate to Alaafin if not for the AJEGUDUJERA attitude shown by the last Ooni. The former Ooni messed things up due to IJEKUJE with Abacha. Ooni Sijuade gba serious EBODE for Yoruba nation, part of which we are still dealing with today. I doubt if the Orisas are still with even the present Ooni, reason he probably started on wrong footing by marrying a woman who turned out to be a show of shame. Femolacaster: |
You have to be blind to not have seen everywhere around you or what made you to abandoned your region for mine. Since your fathers never knew what greatness was you will assume everyone was born at the roadside shack like you. You should be ashamed of your lineage if you have a brain at all, for being hopelessly useless squatters in other people's regions. Kestolovee95: |
Ooni is not an Oba but a spiritual leader. A custodian of the Orisas. Alaafin is the paramount king of Yorubaland, he's next to the Orisas. The only Oba with a real empire under his belt. Politics and Abacha's looted money wanted to do abracadabra to Yoruba Obaship through the last Ooni via backdoor, but we all.saw how he was ridiculed. No one will succeed in rewriting Yoruba history, even the new Ooni is just playing around on his hands, he knows his limits. Femolacaster: |
How can you hiv/aids infected baby factory produced maggots be better than anyone? Incest is when your father is also your brother as it's common with your lineage. My father's wise investment is what's bringing you out of your shanti holes into my region in droves. Kestolovee95: |
Can you see the disadvantage of not teaching history in schools? If we can call Ooni oba now, it means we will call Aare Ona Kakanfo Gani Adams oba in few decades. We must bring history back to Yorubaland. SlayDaddy: |
Don't mind him, even Ooni himself knows Alafin is his Oba. And did I hear him say Obi of something? He needs to go to the joke section with that. SlayDaddy: |
As the paramount king of Yorubaland, Alafin Oyo is the only one who can confer national Yoruba titles on the people. As an Ijebu, I know Alafin is supreme over even Awujale and all other obas, but very humble, we just have to follow the history. BABANGBALI: |
We need to stop giving unpatriotic cowards of Yorubaland title. |
Nice |
You need to go and release Anambra to Igala people if you care about marginalized people. Ogu people migrated from Togo, Benin and Ghana, the areas believe to be part of larger Yorubaland and have since be part of Lagos and Ogun. All Yoruba dialects including Ogu are safe, the one we are trying to save is our national language which is Yoruba. It's ok for any community to complain of marginalization to get attention, Egbado people in Ogun State who didn't migrate from anywhere are complaining of marginalization as we speak, all for economic advantage and to produce governor. So when Yoruba subgroups are talking about marginalization, only we understand. If you spend 1% of the energy wasted on Yoruba on your problem in ibo land, your region would have attracted some development, and you won't have to be packed with grass to SW everyday. AdaFonju: |
Your imbecilic drifter of a father brought the house to Lagos on his dumb head. Kestolovee95: |
