Buni became Caretaker chairman through the decision of the NEC of APC which was validly convened by a court recognized chairman of APC as of then.

NEC, discharging its powers as the highest decision making body of the party, appointed Buni and others to manage the party. And I think INEC participated in that meeting and therefore recognized Buni as APC chairman.

Consequently, only Buni or Akpanudoedehe, according to APC constitution, can call for another valid NEC meeting or organize a convention where a change of guard will happen.

Until then, Bello, Elrufai, Akeredolu and their sponsor Tinubu, is engaging in a dance of shame at the market square.

the reality is that the current acting apc NEC is not just illegal to INEC, tomorrow is the deadline for alerting the public officially on the 26th convention
