Senator Chukwudi Utazi has taken his colleague, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah to the cleaners, describing him as an inexperienced Senator who has abandoned his legislative duties and enjoys 24/7 online media propaganda.

It will be recalled that last week Tuesday, Senator Chukwudi Utazi who represents Enugu North Senatorial District through a point of order during the senate plenary session, frowned at the attitude of some Nigerians, who have engaged in the act of de-marketing and blackmailing Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) brand and the founder, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, because of local politics.

Although he apologized later, by releasing two press release, to clarify his Point of Order, which sparked outrage against Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represents Anambra South, which happens to be the Senatorial District where Chief Innocent Chukwuma hails from, Senator Ubah rejected the apology and accused him of allowing himself to be used for petty politics.

According to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, he found the action of his colleague, very distasteful and demanded that he tenders a clear, proper and unreserved-apology to his constituents, Ndi Anambra, Enugu State, the Senate and the entirely Igbo Nation for bringing an unverified and fictitious fake social media report to the floor of the Nigerian Senate.

However, in a swift reaction to Ifeanyi Ubah’s embarrassing letter, Distinguished Senator Chukwudi Utazi, described him as an inexperienced Senator with only one (1) year and two months experience, advising him to kindly choose his battles in the National Assembly.

He revealed that his two press releases were done on the direction of their colleagues whom Senator Ubah lamented to, that the online publication was limiting his chances in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State.

According to Senator Utazi, as a Member of the Senate, he has the right to speak on any issue of his choice, whether verified or not, whether in his constituency or not, in Nigeria and world over, noting that Senator Ubah as a one year and two months Senator, cannot educate a ranking Senator like him, on the rights and privileges of a Senator.

He noted that instead of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah to dig deep to find out who is the author that use fictitious pseudo name to tarnish his name as he claimed, he was busy wasting his time trying to worry that he talked about the mention of the Senate Committee on Land Transport Vis a Vis the purchase of vehicles from Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited.

He advised Senator Ubah, to choose his battles in the National Assembly and never to drag him into Anambra State politics.

There is palpable fear in the political camp of the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, following the decision of Amb. Paul Muoneke (JP) to officially join the People's Democratic Party (PDP)

Amb. Paul Muoneke (JP), who is the current President of Nnewi Youth Forum, yesterday, 16th July, 2020, officially declared his ambition to contest for the office of the Chairmanship of Nnewi North Local Government.

Declaring his ambition during the Nnewi North People's Democratic Party (PDP) meeting, which held at the party secretariat located along Nnewi-Owerri road, Amb. Muoneke said that his decision to contest for the Chairmanship post was out of his deep desire to give Nnewi a facelift.

Amb. Paul Muoneke declaration came as a surprise, knowing fully well that he was an active supporter of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in the last general election.

It is believed that his open declaration for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) is a calculated step towards pitching his tent with the 2021 Anambra State Governorship Hopeful and the Member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chris Emeka Azubuogu.

As it stands, Amb. Paul Muoneke remains the only person that has openly declared for the Chairmanship position in People's Democratic Party (PDP)

Anambra 2021 Guber: Azubogu, Maduka, Ozigbo,Others, Jittery Over Zoning Controversy

There is uneasy calm in the camp of Governorship aspirants of People's Democratic Party (PDP), from Anambra South Senatorial, following the plans by the party will not zone it's 2021 governorship ticket in Anambra State.

Anaedoonline.com has reliably gathered that political tension is building across the camp of the Member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Chris Azubogu, Umuchu-born Billionaire Medical Doctor, Dr. Godwin Maduka, Former Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna and Mr. Valentine Ozigbo.

These candidates who were already strategizing and scheming on how to outwit each other before the party's primary is scheduled were left downcast after the party zonal leadership led by Chief Austin Umahi declared that the party will not zone its 2021 governorship ticket in the state, urging all aspirants from all senatorial zones in the state to contest.

According to Chief Umahi, the party remains firm and resolute in their ultimate interest to win the Anambra State Gubernatorial election 2021 with the best candidate provided he or she is an Anambarian. He maintained that the party's candidate in the election could come from any part of the state, noting that PDP cannot be blackmailed into adopting APGA or APC zoning arrangement in Anambra state.
