My dad attended his USA visa interview in abuja last Monday, August 26th. I had signed up on the old appointment page to pick up his passport at DHL benin city. Now, how do we collect his passport or even track his passport? No email was ever sent. Do we keep waiting or do we need to sign up anywhere? Please help. Thanks

My Dad went to his US visit visa interview today, it was approved. I was so anxious.

My dad is 65 years old. I am a USA citizen. My Dad's last visa application was 16 years ago in 2008 and it ended in refusal. Although he had visited the USA 18 years ago before.

VO: Pass me your passport please
Dad: Here, do you also need my previous passports?
VO: Not at the moment. Where are you going?
Dad: Pennsylvania
VO: what are you going to do in Pennsylvania
Dad: I would like to go see my grandchildren, i have not seen them since they were born
VO: Have you traveled within the last 5 years?
Dad: No
VO: What do you do?
Dad: I am a lawyer
VO: Have you been to the USA before?
Dad: Yes
Your visa is approved. We will send you an email.

A Nigerian here with a quick question from the United States, is it possible to write to the us embassy's email about the specifics of a pending visa interview and advise not to issue a visa or it would be of no use writing?
