For other people willing to learn and banish ignorance filled with arrogance. Use google to answer your questions and try to investigate other opinions to always reach an informed decision. Just because an ignorant loud mouth in a suit made a comment doesn't make it right.

X represents an unknown within the confines of a maths text book. outside that especially for Greek speakers, it means something else a lot closer to Christ which by the way is a sort of title. The Son of God is actually called Jesus according to the bible.

Who said i haven't made enquiries? Or u think i'd just come 2 nl nd opened a thread without havin asked others around me about this? Infact, hw many people know dat x in Greek is actually used 4 Christ. I xpect u 2 knw that u don't jump into conclusions in life. I'm not tryin 2 start a fight but u should also investigate matters wel b4 concluding.

This is becoming too common these days even among 'real believers' and i really think we should have asked ourselves this question and have seen that Christmas isn't meant to be shortened by xmas where 'x' is representing an unknown. Pls, lets comment on this! (hope this makes front page!)
