Nigerian-American rapper Wale has unveiled tracklist, cover art, and release date for fifth studio album "Shine".

The 14-track album has been set for a May 5, 2017 release date, and contains features from Nigerian superstar artists Davido, Olamide, Wizkid, Nigerian- Grenadian rapper Phil Ade, and other international artists including Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Dua Lipa, G-Eazy, J Balvin, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown.

Interestingly his label boss rapper Rick Ross doesn't make a feature on the album.
Wale revealed the album cover was designed by Dedrick Strong aka artist VHS (who Wale described as being one of his “talented fans“).

"Shine" follows his 2015 "The Album About Nothing" released under Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records.
The lead single off the album 'My PYT' dropped in 2016 and was followed by 'Running back' featuring Lil Wayne.
Wale Folarin will be holding a US tour tagged "The Shine Tour" in May following the album release, hitting major US cities such as Houston, Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta, and will total 15 shows in all.

A Nigerian, Razak Ajao, yesterday was killed during a mob attack against foreigners in Polokwane, Limpopo Province of South Africa. Four others were injured.

The Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr Martins Cobham, confirmed the incident.

“I can confirm that a Nigerian, Razak Ajao, an auto mechanic was killed and four others injured.
“The Nigerian mission has formally registered a protest to the South African ministry of foreign affairs on this sad incident.

“The ministry said they would get back to the mission and that is the situation we are now,” he said, adding that the mission had also reported the attacks to the South African police.

However, Mr Ralph Nwachukwu, a Nigerian national in South Africa, put the death toll at two.

He said two Nigerians, were killed during the attack which took place when Nigerians resident in Polokwane, were holding a meeting.

President Buhari has ordered the release of N54 billion for the payment of pension arrears for the year 2014, 2015 and 2016. Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun disclosed this in statement she released on her Facebook wall.

According to Adeosun, N41. 5 billion has been paid National Pension Commission (PENCOM) for onward payment to the retirees, who retired under the Contributory Pension Scheme. Read her statement below....

21-year-old UK born Nigerian Mo Adeniran was last night crowned the winner of the The Voice UK 2017 during the show’s finale.
Mo, who works night shifts at a hotel, beat other contestants with his rendition of Iron Sky. His victory left him in shock while his mentor, Jennifer Hudson, burst into tears of joy.

“Thank you everyone at home, I just want to say thank you to Jennifer and all the coaches. An amazing thank you to the most phenomenal person I have ever met, thank you Jennifer,” Mo said after he was announced winner.

Mo also won a record deal with Polydor Records and the company congratulated him via their Twitter account.

Powerlifter Oksana Kosheleva, 34, is the strongest woman in Siberia and more than a match for the average man. One fellow was foolhardy enough to pick a quarrel with her and he was treated to the unbridled fury of raw power and muscle. A video of the comical incident shows a male driver locked in a traffic standoff with Kosheleva, she proceeds to get out of her car, drag him off the wheels before dumping him in her trunk with a kick for good measure. She then drove him out of the car park and threw him out on the side of the road.

The driver identified as Ayrtom was being filmed by his friends as he performed a stunt in a car park when he cut in front of Kosheleva.

They didn't try to help their poor friend, instead they filmed the whole thing.


Kosheleva said she wanted to avoid a 'fight' with Artyom, adding:
'I simply decided to teach him a lesson, I wasn't planning to beat him up.
'I'm a woman and fights are not for me.'
