EducationTop 5 Reasons Why Students Fail To Graduate With Good Grades by ttibite(op): 8:04pm On Aug 25, 2015
There are many factors that can contribute to a student not graduating with good grade. Many of these factors may be beyond the control of the student. However, from observation many students fail to graduate with good grades for reasons which can be traced directly to them. They knowingly or unknowingly plotted their own failure.

Here are 5 common ways many students jeopardize their chances of graduating with good grades;
Poor Start: It is said that the beginning of a thing matters. This is true if you aim to graduate with good grades. It has been observed that students who end up graduating with good grades are the ones that started putting the needed effort right from their first year. Many think that they have plenty of time, so they use their first year to have “fun” only to realize how difficult it is to make up for what has been lost already.
Lack of Interest: For one reason or the other many students find themselves admitted to study a particular course they have no interest to study. Many of such students usually develop apathy for academic activities. Some others take their academics with levity hoping they will change into a more preferable course one later (which may never happen). Only to wish they have been more serious later. Even if the course wasn’t what you opted for, take time to find out what the course is all about and its prospects. You never can tell, you may end up loving it more than your preferred course.
There are some others who have no interest whatsoever in academics. They are in school against their own will. A student once told me, “I’m here just because my parents want me to be here.” You can hardly put a good amount of effort needed to succeed in something you are not interested in.
Misplaced Priorities/Poor Time Management: One major cause of failure is broken or diverted focus. You are in school to study and learn. That means you shouldn’t focus on something else at the expense of the main reason you are in school. I am not saying you shouldn’t take out time to socialize, have fun, etc. but don’t indulge in these things at the expense of your study. In higher institutions there are many things that will likely get you distracted. Hence, the need for you to get your priorities right, set relevant goals and eliminate as much distraction as possible in order to remain focused on your main objective.
Negative Influence: In campus, you are going to meet the good, the bad and the ugly. Therefore who you choose or allow to choose you as a friend will likely influence you either positively or negatively. Beware of “friends” who will discourage you from attending lectures and studying.
Poor Study Habits: Since the main objective you are in school is to study and learn, your success will depend on your study habits/pattern. Studying hard is not enough, you also need to study smart. An effective study habit considers what to study, when to study and how to study.

CrimeThe Leaders Of The Cooperative Initiate A Land Project by ttibite(op):
it is a pity that, the leaders of the cooperative initiate a land project for their members at ijuru in lusada ogun state since 2007,, which they collected money from the members in 2012. The money collected in 2012, was #180, 000: for half plot at that area in ogun state at then, but later the land was sold for #200,000.
A year later, the cooperative leaders raised another demand that every member must pay additional fees of #60, 000 which they said the land owner demanded; of which some members of the cooperative struggled to pay the money since they never want to loose the land or money which they had ealiar paid while others has not paid and the land was allocated to all members late 2013. The leader called another meeting at Agboju in 2014 that they have negotiate with land's owners for the foundation and roofing fee at the rate of one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) which after investigation eighty thousand can do the both,some of the members agree and others disagree that it should be done individually but the assume leader of the cooperative mr usman will always threaten members who are not ready to support his shady deal about the land that he will refund their money and sell the land to another person since land in that area has appreciate.Then some of the members agree since majority of them are women only few men and few people have paid the "foundation and roofing fee"for them to start developing their land but to the surprise of all members another meeting was called in may 2015 and the leader Mr usman that additional one hundred and sixty naira (#160,000)must be paid to the land owner again making the total money for the half plot to be four hundred thousand naira (#400,000).The leaders are deliberately denying the members not to build their lands for them to continue yearly increase on the price with a threat that if u cant pay they will refund your money.
Teachers cooperative was established to help members to get what cant buy outright but that of ojo L.E.D has become a devourer to their members.One female told some of the members after the meeting in may that she joined the cooperative since 2007 and attended their first meeting and since then their leaders will tell them al sort of lies to cover their evil deeds.The leader mr usman told us in the meeting in may that the money they collected from the members in 2012 is still with the cooperative and has not been given to the land owner and the said the land has been allocated to members.Then another meeting was called on the 4th of august,2015 and mr was again in his dubious act trying to add twenty five thousand naira (#25,000)to the land price which all members rejected before he kept quite but again he came with his dubious way again that the one hundred and twenty thousand naira "foundation and roofing fee"has been changed that the money is for foundation alone not with roofing which the members disagree with him.These leaders in their dubious way never appointed anybody as their secretary to take minute until the last meeting when the members kicked against it.Now the said land has bee allocated to the members of ojo L.E.D cooperative but the leaders never allow them to develop it.I am appealing to the permanent secretary of education,pro democracy groups,honourable members of house of assembly and governor of lagos state to interverne on behalf of these teachers to collect back their land from which hunt of their leaders to build ,live and enjoy the fruit of their labour before and after their retirement.
God bless lagos state.Amen
