Just coming across this story, well rather too late tgan never. Many of the car owner wanna be DIY Thereby causing themselves arm than good. Buy trying to know the cost of part in the market and comparing with the prife u give them. From experience, as a tecnician. The Kazeem kinf of technicians always have a luxury of time following the owner to the market in getting parts and at the end coniving with the seller by inflating the price and persuade the owner to buy and collecting his ( kazeem) own share unknown to the owner. Some time the owner is lucky to get a good part and if it turns the other way Kazeem will let u know u both were involved so dont blame him.
Somtimes, too know makes some car owner to fall in a wrong hand, and not bother to make enquiries about the integrity of the technician that u want to work on you car.Many car owners are always in an awry and want things done once they drop money and they dont also want to care about the job you have at hand at that moment, so they put the technician in a rush.

Air/ Fuel Sensor is the same as Oxygen sensor but being the before the CATALYST it monitors the Ratio of Fuel to Air that goes into the Cylinders and you know in the Air present is the Oxgen which supports combustion. There for your faulty sensor or a problem along the circuit to this sensor prompted the 2 fault code. Check if the sensor is connected before replacing it.

Having tried 3 different SCANNERS WITH NO COMMUNICATION, Being an Honda Accord 2008. These are what your technicians needs to check @ the OBD 2 DLC PORT. where the Scanner is plugged in to communicate with the Control Units.
At least 4-5 WIRES ARE must be present at the DLC ( DATA LINK CONNECTOR) port out which +ve battery power is supposed to be there, Another power with Ignition ON, another one which must be present is the -ve negative, The other that needs to be present is or are CAN Hi and CAN Lo ( These are the Communication Area Network Line) which are determined by tge manufacturer. In most cases there is always open circuit or short circuit in tge harness. Let your Auto-Electrician check for the presence if those wires at tge DLC and also check the fuses.

It is advisable you change your ATF When you are changing th3 Engine Oil for the 4th time. Meaning if you go by the Millage on the Cluster , the Engine oil is exoected to be chaged @ every 4000km for a metric odometer n 2500miles for the ones in MILES. Summing it up this gives u a total of 12000km intervals for the ATF CHANGE. This makes your Transmission Last longer if the Spec of ATF is used like TOYOTA TIV NOT ABRO OR HORSE

What I will advise you do is do a fuel pump pressure test, have your Throttle body serviced, the pump might nit have enough pressure to push fuel to the to the injectors there by causing the issues you are experiencing and as a result the throttle body ( aka Injector Mouth might have clogged up due to unburnt fuel in the cylinder. In all A Tune up will be a good option.
